John looked over his shoulder and looked directly at the bullies. They were whispering like tomorrow wasn't ever a gog damned thing. He studdied all their features as soon as he stepped off the bus and stopped. The one who punched Dave in the face. He let out a growl and continued on walking. He would have to think of a way to get back at him, later on. As they got closer to the building, John didn't realize that he had started floating, again. It felt just like he was walking, but...He realized that it looked like he had gotten taller from his own perspective. Shrugging it off, he would just have to deal with it. "Those bullies are so stupid...Why don't they just pick on someone their own size?"

[Have you ever noticed that all the fanart of John and Dave is usually just of them kissing? Not that there's something wrong with it. But, most of them make it seem like John finally gets the guts to man up and kiss Dave.]

"They'd have to pick on themselves then, but I don't think they have the guts to make fun of each other." Dave gave the bullies a last glance, frowning at them. The one who punched Dave whispered "Demon child" at him and he rolled his eyes and continued behind John. "Their insults aren't even creative." He saw a few familiar faces walking around the campus and entering the school. Tavros was listening to Gamzee ramble on, Rose was talking to Eridan about science and magic and how the two can relate or prove each other wrong.

(I'd always think that dave would be rly nervous about kissin john because he lives in texas and homosexuality isn't tolerated very well there..)

[Well...Right now, she's just calling me a Butt-face because she hit me and got in trouble. X3 But I'm really fine with it. Not anything personal.]

"I wish someone would put them in their place..." John trailed off, when he saw a few of his friends in the hallway. He smiled and waved at them all, continuing to float on down the hallway. He had the first few classes with Dave. Just then, an idea hit him. He knew just how to teach those bullies a lesson. But he would have to wait for a while. As soon as they got to Algebra class, John sat down in the same seat as yesterday and looked over at the bully who had snatched away Jade's notebook and punched Dave. This guy needed to be taught his manners.

"Their time will come, Egbert. I'll make sure of it." Dave smirked and fixed his backpack on his back. "They don't call me the Knight of Time for nothing." As the bullies passed them in the hall, they purposely bumped into John and Dave. Dave scowled and shook his head. "They better watch out."

[X3 Went to the roller rink today and my friend made a slingshot and made me run into a wall. She had been pretending to be Vriska all day long and said," FLY, PUPA! FLYYYYYYYY!" The wall was hard. Derp. X3]

As John felt one of their shoulders collide with his and brush past, he rubbed his shoulder and let out a small," Owww..." It was at times like this, where he wished he was bigger and stronger so that he could make the bullies understand what he felt. But, he didn't have time now to try and beat them up, so he would have to save it for later.

[Oops. Spoilers. X3 Sorry, John. I still luff you, John~! But I'm gonna make him try to stand up to the bullies and get beat up, so that he can go to the hospital and so that stuff can happen.]

Dave sighed and sat at his seat, then he turned around to face John. "Already the first hour we get to school and they don't lay off. In Texas, a punch back would possibly be allowed if you call it self defense." Dave really just felt like getting out a katana and slicing the bullies into jock sushi. On the house to those who actually want it.

[I was thinking of making it after school, but the lunch idea just gave me a miraculous idea. XD...And I have also caught the word block. *Achoo!* >w<]

John looked up at the board and watched as their teacher explained some of the rules that were left out from yesterday, and went over the others. "I just want those guys to disappear, right now..." He sluped down in his chair, straightened his rectangular glasses, and blinked his blue eyes. Everything seemed so monotonous. Why had he been so excited, before? Now, he had no idea whatsoever. What was there to be excited about?

Dave walked into the lunch room by himself, losing John in the hall somewhere. His hands were in his pockets and he headed to buy himself the main entree, chicken nuggets and fries apparently. He smirked at a joke he could make when he saw John later. Dave bought his lunch along with a small can of apple juice and a bag of chips. He sat down at the table they sat at last time, hoping John would notice when he came in and sit over with him.
