*Beep...Beeep...Beeeep....* As His alarm clock started to beep, John groaned and reached over to press the snooze button. He clumsily reached for his glasses, put them on, and pushed them up on his nose. All he could think about was last night. He had a good time with Dave, but he had trouble sleeping after that...Just then, he remembered he had one more day of school left; Today! After all, today was another school day. Hurriedly, he dressed himself in his best school clothes, grabbed a pop-tart, and headed out for the bus stop. When he arrived, he stopped at the corner. "Hey, Dave!"

Dave looked up and over at John, smirking an giving a little wave. "Yo, Egbert." He sat down on a nearby bench, since the bus wouldn't be over for another 5-10 minutes. "Sleep well?" Hopefully, John had slept better than Dave, and if Dave was to take off his shades right now, there would be dark-ish circles under his eyes. Apparently, waking up at 4am and staying up wasn't exactly the healthiest thing to do.

"Not really. All I got was a good two-hour sleep...How 'bout you?" John responded, taking off his glasses and rubbing his tired blue eyes. The only thing that kept him up was the fact that he almost dropped Dave to his death. He tapped his foot on the pavement and hummed the song he had played on the piano, just yesterday. "Oh!" He exclaimed, giving himself a face-palm. "I totally forgot about that...Hey, did you make the remix?" A bucktoothed smile came onto his face as he looked up to the blue sky. There were only a few lazy clouds drifting around in the sky.

"Hmm? Oh, yea, I spent a while on it last night..." Dave took his backpack off his back and started rummaging through it. He frowned as he realized he had left it at home, and he shook his head. "D*mn it, I forgot it at home... I can get to you after school, if thats okay?" He looked back the way to his house, knowing if he was to go and get it, he would be late for the bus and Bro wasn't exactly keen on driving Dave to school.

When Dave told him that he left it at home, John shrugged his shoulders and looked over at the intersection sign. "I-i'ts okay if you don't have time to get it. Not like the world will end or something," He chuckled, accidentally reminding himself of the game. In the game, everything had gone by so fast and he hadn't been able to comprehend much. He had gotten his god tier and still had his powers, currently. He scolded himself under his breath for reminding himself about the incident yesterday. Would he ever be able to let it go and forgive himself?

"Heh, I guess. Oh, there's another song on there I thought you should have, just something I whipped up earlier" The second song was a nice calm one to balance out the remix on the CD. Dave wrote it on his guitar a couple of months earlier, but he really just didn't know if he should've given it to John then. Plus, John did need some sort of relax song after the whole fall yesterday.

When John looked back at Dave, he nodded his head in approval. "Cool...I bet it'll sound awesome when I play it later. " Sheilding his eyes from the bright sun, he jammed his hand into his pocket and started humming again. "I wonder when the bus will be here?" He said, trying to make a conversation. He didn't want to accidentally ask Dave what he had done last night, and then remember the whole thing.

"I think you'll treasure it on a little Egbertian Shrine" Dave smirked and leaned back into the bench, setting his backpack down. He looked at the gear watch he had on his wrist and shrugged, "We have another 5 minutes.." Dave lay his hand down and the looked at the sky, already bright even though it was fall. " Looks like we'll have a nice day today.."

John snickered at Dave's joke and looked up at all the trees. The leaves were turning brown and some had already fallen off. As yet another leaf fell from one of the trees, he caught it in his cupped hands. Before he knew it, he was hovering above the ground, again. It was a force of habit for him, but he didn't want to stop it. It always calmed him down. " I don't know why, but...I think I actually want to go to school today...What's wrong with me?"

"Dunno Egbert, there's a lot of things wrong with you.." Dave let out a little huff of laughter, meaning what he said in a joking way. There really wasn't too much wrong with John, and he was pretty normal. Dave looked over at him and raised a brow as he hovered. "Maybe the windy thing agrees with me about the weather."
