{Hahaha! X3 LOLBOTH. And, I wanted John to be unfocused so that he'd let go and Dave would fall. When Dave realizes it, he stops/slows time and John will swoop in and save him. By the way, I gave Goku the link to read Homestuck, and she hasn't been on ever since. Hmmm...I wonder why X3}

As John examined the lights, he didn't realize that he was gradually letting go of Dave's hand. He just watched as some of the lights flickered on and off and listened to the cars zooming by. In the blink of an eye, he had completely let go of Dave's hand. He blinked his blue eyes and snapped back to reality. Gasping, the only word he was able to choke out was," Dave!"

Dave felt his hand slip and he yelped, feeling the sudden loss of support from the wind. "John!", Dave shouted to get John's attention. Dave shut his eyes and used his powers to help slow the fall. In his state of panic, the powers weren't exactly at their best, but he managed to slow his fall by about a half of the speed. He still felt he was falling, but slower, and he could actually feel his heart pounding against his ribcage.

{You should watch HetaOni! It's based off Ao Oni, but with the Hetalia characters. That's where I met Goku! Our characters from our HetaOni roleplay are in love. For a few nights, I was scared that the Oni would come into my room and kill me or something...}

John watched as Dave fell and tried to fly down to catch him as fast as he could. When he was just above Dave, he reached his arm out to try and grab a hold of him, but just missed. "D-dave!" He shouted down at him, tears welling in his eyes. His tears flew up behind him as he zoomed downwards. By now, he could nearly see the ground.

Dave reached his hand out to John, his eyes wide. Hell, if this was his last day, at least it was with John. He tried to slow down a little more, but it barely worked. Heck, if you're falling at a speed you don't even know, you'd be panicking too. When John missed, Dave gulped. "F*ck, John! C'mon!" This would probably scare him for a while, if he ever decided to fly too high with John again, but he also blamed himself for not paying attention, too.

As John tried to go faster, he shouted over the sound of air rushing at his face," I-i'm trying! I'm trying!" Reaching his arm down a little farther, he could almost reach dave's hand. He strained to get his hand down close enough to at least, grasp one of Dave's fingers and try to pull him up. Hurriedly, he quickly reached forward and grabbed onto his hand. Once he caught him, he pulled him into a hug and spun around in the air. "Dude! I'm so sorry! No more flying, I swear!" He landed them back on the ground and added," My house isn't too far. Heh. Guess we'll walk from here." They were almost to his house in the middle of the culdesac.

As John pulled him up, Dave's eyes were just wide with shock. He called off the time thing and then he took a deep breath. Dave brought his arms around and hugged John back tightly, not really wanting to let go again any time soon. "Thanks...", he muttered unde his breath. When they laanded, his heart had stopped pounding so quickly and he just took a while to catch his breath. "Egbert, always pay attention to your passengers. Egbert Heirline almost went out of business."

{Lol. X3 Fantasizing a smidge too much. Lol. In class, I'm doing a project on John Brown, so I kinda strayed and searched up pictures of John Egbert instead.}

"Sorry, dude," Responded John. "That's what happens when an airplane has no safety equipment...I'll take a note of that." He broke the hug, then pretended to write "a note" down on his hand for the sheer irony of it. As they got closer and closer to his house, the more he didn't want to go home. He had actually had fun with Dave that day. Do I...? Like-like him, too? John thought, looking at the neighboring houses. Could be possible...Am I gay, too? Well, I guess it...His thoughts trailed off and he looked down at the pavement.
