Lona ducked inside, keeping her head low as the darkness that greeted her sunk into her pores. "Raseem? Moram? It's Lona, from the Third Panel." Keeping her voice respectful, her ugly yellow-brown eyes adjusted to the darkness. She could see something moving from within the corners of the stone den.
"You bring friends with you, Lona of the Third Panel. Care to tell us who they are?" Came a gravel-filled voice, full of age and wisdom. Again, something shifted inside the den, and the form of a wolf appeared. Out from the dark shadows and into the dim, stale light, stepped a white she-wolf, her fur dingy with season upon season of uncare. Her paws were huge, much too big for a regular wolf, and her brown nose twitched as she took in the band of wolves. But what was most frightening about her, was her unnatural white eyes. They looked directly at the four guests, but betrayed nothing.

Snow yelped in surprise at the frightening appearance of this new wolf, squeezing her eyes shut to cancel out the sight of her. Her whole body trembled as she felt power radiating off this she-wolf, but she still didn't open her eyes.
Mercury looked sharply at the fortune-teller, then dropped his gaze when a fear dropped over his body. What's wrong with her eyes? And what's the Third Panel? he thought fearfully.
