Raseem snorted, but drew closer. She reached out tentatively and sniffed at the she-wolf, and instantly her gaze clouded. She stood, tensed, for a moment, her eyes fluttering randomly as if there were something unseen behind her eyes. The pause only lasted a few heartbeats, then she blinked her ghostly-white eyes. The fortune-teller looked at Illusion again, as if for the first time, and curled her lips. Raseem swung her head around to look at Moram. "Evil! Great evil! Do you not sense it coming from her, sister? She is dripping with evil! Betrayal!" She lifted her maw ot the sky as her voice began to rise. "Sisters of the Gods, gather! Gather beneath your leaders' wing and listen to what I say!" Raseem, without waiting a moment for anyone's response, pushed past the children and padded, stiff-legged, toward the mouth of her den. All the she-wolves began to gather, their distant eyes wary and curious. Raseem glared at Illusion from her spot and opened her mouth to speak, but Mercury interjected.
"What's the meaning of this?" Mercury called, blue eyes wide.
