Evan seemed slightly shocked as she almost yelled at him, and he bit his lip, hearing her out. Obviously she seemed very worried about her, but he couldn't help but wonder if she was taking this to a new level; just because she had been treated so badly as a child did not mean that this girl was. He was perfectly aware that Sauda had taken this quite personally, and that she was now speaking of her own childhood. The idea that she had been beaten and unloved made his blood run cold. Perhaps she was right. Silently he sighed, then nodded. "All right," he murmured. What she had said about dreams had almost stung. "I'll help you." He knew that he could convince the parents to let go of their kid, but was still unsure of Sauda keeping the child was a good idea. A circus wasn't exactly the ideal enviornment for a kid.
