Elwood watched this girl sleep for a while, before he got ready for bed himself. He stretched and removed his shirt and pants. He replaced his jeans with something more comfortable. Elwood took the blanket that was folded neatly on the bed, and covered this female creature up. He took the ragged one out from under his bed and went to the arm chair to sleep. Elwood dozed off, and woke up every now and then since Elwood could never sleep peacefully at night.

When morning approached, Hayley eventually blinked her eyes awake and stirred. She rolled onto her other side so she could see the arm chair as was confused when she found a blanket over herself. She didn't put that there, did she? Hayley was still tired, but only because she just woke up. She eventually sat up, looking around until her eyes fell onto the man's figure.

Elwood thought he heard something so he looked to the girl. She was looking at him. He pulled his cover back around his shoulders because he felt rather uncomfortable with her looking at him. He didn't want her to see his bare chest for the simple reason of his tattoos. Mostly the heart on his side. The blue bird on his chest he could easily explain. Elwood thought the heart sort of made him look unmanly, and he didn't want to look weak in front of his hostage.

"Why did you take me?" Hayley asked, her eyes locked with the man and her voice calm but stern. She pulled her feet to her, sitting down like a pretzel like she always did. She looked around the room again, the window was boarded up and she literally had no idea where she was. How far away from her home was she? What would her parents do? Her eyes went back to the man questionably.

"Money." Elwood said quite simply, he really did not want to get into details right now. Elwood looked at Fish who was still asleep on the bed. Elwood needed money so he could help his sister, and Elwood decided this might be the best possible thing to do. Not that it was, Elwood had never been a extremely intellectual fellow.

"How long am I going to be here for?" She asked him with a frown. Her parents weren't exactly rich people, yes they were average and had a little bit of money to spare but probably not the money that this man was looking for. Hayley's eyes glanced over to the dog that was sleeping on the bed with her. He made her feel a little more comfortable, but only a little bit.

Elwood shrugged, "I don't know, maybe a couple of months? I'm keeping you here for two days before I notify your family, they have six months to get the money together." Elwood said looking to this girl he had kidnapped. "Hmm.. what's your name?" Elwood asked looking at Fish.

"Hayley..." She said, his words worrying her a great deal. "Two months?" She asked, her voice almost a squeak. She expected it to only be a couple of weeks, but MONTHS? "But what if my parents can't get the money together? What will happen then?" Hayley asked with a worried frown. Oh God she just wanted to go home. What if this man was going to kill her!

Elwood ignored her squeak, "I'm Elwood." the man said with a look at this girl who's name was apparently Hayley. "I'll give them more time." Elwood answered quite simply. Elwood couldn't kill any one, he didn't have the heart to. "I told you I don't want to hurt you." He added looking to Fish who was just waking up.

"You are already hurting me by doing this. You are going to make my family worry, they won't know where I ever disappeared to." Hayley said, turning away from him so her back was facing him. She didn't even want to look at him right now, she would get too frustrated and upset. She sighed and remained quiet for a few more moments. "You are going to keep me in this room the entire time, aren't you?"
