Matthew

Finally, Mr. Evans came to the percussion. They were always last. Mr. Evans handed him the mallet part, victory! He looked it over. There was some xylophone and some parts on the big chimes.

Joey

Joey fingered through the solo a couple times while Mr. Evans handed out music. She decided she would have to use a lot of vibrato in this solo, as well as small crescendos here and there.

[~Tosuka~]

She blinked, fingering the notes that were needed for this music. It was a decent-sized piece of music, and it looked as if it would be interesting to play. She smiled to herself, hearing the other flutes around her fail.

L u c i o n
He just sat there, not doing anything.

[Yeah. Lucion can't do stuffs in this class. xD]

Mr. Evans

Mr. Evans finished handing out the music, and he stepped onto his podium, "All right, let's see how far we can get," he said.

Matthew

Matthew waited, the song began with a simple triangle and bass drum beat. He waited for him to come in on measure, like, 8 with a chime beat. (Gee, I don't remember if it's measure 8. I played this song like last year. xD)

Kyle

Joey played a little bit in the beginning. All in all, the band had nice balance. The french horns sounded good, too.

[Derp. I don't even have the notes or saw it before, I wasn't exactly focusing when I listened to the music. I be lost. xD]

She waited for her measure, listening to the band around her. They were pretty good, minus the trumpet players. One wasn't even playing. She let out a small sigh, the measure to flute parts coming up. She raised her flute to her mouth, starting to blow into it, her fingers moving from key to key. The flutes around her, started to mess up, low and loud shrieks going into the air, messing up the flow of the song.

Mr. Evans

Mr. Evans cringed a bit at the sound of the flutes, but continued.

Matthew

Matthew played his chime notes, and switched to the xylophone, waiting. The saxophones were pretty good. He couldn't help but notice Nicolete playing on her flute, too.

Joey

Joey played with lots of vibrato. Her solo was inching closer and closer.

[Don't do "heh." I'll choose the next song. When I'm not lazy. xD]

She repressed a sigh, watching all the flutes stopping. She kept playing, her fingers moving from key to key. This was going to be like last year, where she pulled all the work. For once.

He kept sitting there. [Derp. xD]

Matthew

Matthew played his xylophone notes. Quarter note, eight note, eight note tie, eight note, quarter note. He liked this song, but it was pretty easy.

Joey

And there was the saxophone solo. Joey played carefully, setting her own tempo and hoping Mr. Evans would follow her.

Nicolete blinked, starting to stop playing. Her flute part had ended and was greeted with a few measures of silence. She sighed, her fingers tapping against her flute.

Lucion just sat there.

Matthew

Matthew listened to Joey play the saxophone solo, it sounded awesome. Then the french horns came in and played the melody, along with a couple timpani beats. (Be proud of me. I'm doing this all without listening to the song. :'D)

Joey

Joey finished her solo, taking in a deep breath. That was fun.

Nicolete kept tapping her fingers to her flute, listening to the band around her. As much as she despised Matthew, he was a pretty good percussionist.

(There should be a "flute solo". So, matthew listens or something. xD)
