Together, they managed to pry it off, but her paw was broken, and bleeding. She hobbled back to camp, wincing.

"What happened?" Dawn asked Midnight. "Breeze is hurt too... Let her rest. Hopefully the wound will heal as fast as possible."

Feather limped back to the den she shared with Breeze.

They both fell asleep.

Feather blinked groggily. Had she fallen asleep? She tried to stand up, but a burning pain in her paw made her collapse. It all came back to her, the hunter's trap she had gotten caught in,limping back with Midnight, falling asleep. She glanced outside to see darkness. She had slept the entire day. She turned to look at Breeze.

Aspen came inside the den and poked Breeze and Feather with her paw. "Psst. Raven wants to see you guys. I don't know what it's about, but apparently it's really important. You have to come out..."

It was painful, but Feather managed to somehow get up by rolling over and pushing up against the wall. "Are you okay?" She asked Breeze.

"I feel a lot better now... Better than before." Breeze replied. They headed out of the den together, with Aspen helping them walk. Raven was waiting outside.

Raven swished his tail back and forth, pacing on the soft brown dirt. "As the alpha of this pack, there's something I'd like to tell you both," he said.

Breeze went tense. "What is it? Is it something about our injuries?"
