Two wolves, Breeze and Feather, get injured, resulting in them being cast out of the pack. Will they be able to survive with only each other?

Feather opened an eye as the sun began to peek out from behind the mountains and trees. Knowing it was morning, she got up and stretched, before padding over to Breeze and nudging her with her nose.

Breeze yawned drowsily and stretched out. "...Morning already?" She said to Feather. Breeze isn't the type to get up early, but instead she constantly has to be woken up by someone else (Feather).

"Yes, it's morning", Feather looked around at the other wolves of their pack, "And the others are getting ready to hunt. Ready to join us?" Feather asked, with a friendly nudge.

"Yes. Let's get going." Breeze replied. The two headed out of the cozy den and were immediately greeted by a freezing gust of wind. "It's cold today." Breeze said.

Feather shivered. "It is, isn't it? It will start snowing any day now," she said, as she walked towards the other wolves.

One of the wolves there walked over. "Good morning, guys! We should be ready to set out soon. Just waiting to see if anyone else wants to join." She grinned.

"Good morning, Willow," Feather said with a friendly nose nudge.

A wolf, the hunt leader, yelled from in front. "We're ready to being the morning hunt! You can get into groups or hunt individually." Breeze and Feather looked at each other. "I think we can get more prey if we split up." Breeze said.
