Jacob groaned again and got up. "What... Where am I?" he mumbled, staggering towards the door.

[garnet.]

(nene hecox. Ian hecox, smosh. One of nenes crushes)

Maliki looked back at Jacob and narrowed her eyebrows. They didn't have time for this! Testing had to be done, not playing around.
"Stop it! I am going to do these test chambers on my own if I have to! Hurry up and get out of that stupid lift!" she growled and then turned to go through the door to the next chamber. It had better not include Turrets. They annoyed her!

Jacob shook his head. "God, you're so bossy." he groaned. He staggered out of the lift then stood upright. "Ok. Let's go." he walked towards the door. "And I want one of those things you got, the one that shoots portals. Surprised the big robot didn't give us one to start off with."

Maliki shot him a look then entered the test chamber, smiling as she saw no Turrets. She looked around, seeing some platforms up near the ceiling with a cube on it. There was also a button near the door to get out and move on to the next one.
Seemed easy.
"GLaDOS will. She always does," she muttered to Jacob, looking at her Portal Gun happily. Maliki shot a blue portal up to the ceiling, just above the platform with the cube. She then shot one orange one down at her feet then felt herself fall through and slam down onto the platform.
"Ow," she muttered then reached out and grabbed the cube. "Yay. So cute!" she hugged it.

"I don't see what's so cute about a cube." Jacob moaned. He sat down. "But I'll keep watch for any turrets." he said. At that moment two appeared. "Turrets!" he called up. Then frowned. He skirted the edge of the room and came up behind them. Clearly they weren't very well armoured. He picked one up, turned it upside down and dropped it on it's head. It smashed, electric wires sparking. "That was easy." he mumbled. He did the same with the other one. "Gone!" he called again.

Maliki stayed still against the platform then leapt off with the cube in her arms, landing safely with her leg braces. She looked at Jacob then blinked her thanks for destroying the Turret then ran over to the button, dropping it on there then awaiting the door to open.
