Ian wiped a tear away using his thumb, staring into her eyes. "I have no excuse for the past. But..." he took a deep breath, looking around. "Josh...he said h-he'll hurt you...and Dyl and the others. He needed money, and he's making me marry into this super rich family to get the money. I'm sorry, Cleo, I really am."

Cleo shoved him backwards, "You absoloute idiot." she hissed, "You think i'd let him? And you do know I have my entire inheritance from my parents and grandmother.", she sniffed and shook her head.

"I can't take your money to give it to my *ss of a brother," Ian said, caught off guard by the push. He steadied himself. "Its too late anyway, right? I'm getting married to Rose and you're marrying Alex. Josh'll get his money and you'll be safe. Happy ending." he muttered.

"I told him no." Cleo murmured, "He keeps begging me, but I dont want to... I said yes in shock, but I told him no after that, he still insisted, I keep trying to tell him but...". She stared at the ground, shuddering, then looked up, "You should have known I'd give anything for you. But obviously you didn't understand.", she shook her head, muttering things under her breath.

Ian felt fury slowly build up inside him. He couldn't help being jealous. "Cleo, you don't understand. When you give him money once he'll think up schemes to get more and more. He said, staring at her with those blackholes for eyes.

"I wouldn't have even cared." Cleo muttered, she stared at the ground and then took off all her jewellery, dumping it on the floor, "That's worth nothing to me, but so much for money.". She shuddered and ran out of the building, all emotion left her eyes, her face looked blank. She sat on the fence silently.

Ian picked it all up, snorting. He walked outside. "I don't want-" before he could continue, Josh was suddenly in front of him, elbowing him in the stomach. Ian fell down, clutching his stomach. "Do not try to run from me little brother."
Ian tried getting up as he saw Josh walking to Cleo. Josh had the jewelery Cleo dropped in his hand. "Hello, sweetheart. More would be nice, I guess it could be a fair price for my little brother's life, no?" he had an almost innocent smile as he took Cleo's hand and kissed it.

Cleo's face looked plain, "Take whatever you want, nothings worth anything to me anymore..." she whispered, "There's an engagment ring over by the side of the school...". She stared at the ground as she spoke.

Josh smiled. "Thank you." he walked back to Ian, kicking him over with his foot. "You heard her, go get it." he hissed slightly.
Ian cringed and got up, coughing while still clutching his stomach. He stared at Josh, slowly walking to the side of the school to get it, obviously still in pain.

Cleo looked up, staring blankly at the tree infront of her.
