Matt started drawing small circles in the table with his fingers. Aaron had completely abandoned his sandwich, and Amber her plate of food. She was silent, staring bullets into the top of the table. Eventually, the tension of her mind and the silence made it too much for her. She got up and quickly walked away from the table. Aaron and Matt watched her until she went outside into the parking lot. Aaron sighed and pulled his wallet out, pulling out enough cash to pay the bill and leave a tip. "Women," he muttered, sliding out of the booth and going after her. Matt chewed on his lip and watched him until he too disappeared.

Bailey didn't look up. "Let's go," she said. She sighed and kept quiet. She crossed her arms again once they were both out of the booth. She mumbled something and then started toward the door. She didn't wait for Matt. She pushed open the door and walked out into the parking lot. She looked around for Aaron and Amber. She spotted them and then walked to the car.

Matt sighed and called their waiter over from another table. He quickly paid the bill and went after Bailey as fast as he could.
"Amber," Aaron called as he spotted her at the car. "Baby, what the hell was that back there?" Amber's head snapped up and she glared hard at him. "Don't call me baby," she said sharply. "Then what the hell was that?" he said, his tone souring. "It's not your damn business, unlock the damn car so we can go home!" she yelled loudly. A few people lingering in the parking lot turned their heads to look at them. Aaron raised his hands in defeat and pulled his keys out, going to his side and unlocking the car. He slid in and Amber followed behind him. Matt walked out into the parking lot in time to see end end of what happened. He sighed and got in the car, fastening his seat belt and leaning his head against the window.

Bailey got into the car without a sound. She didn't want to talk about what was wrong. It had something to do with her past and she felt as if she was reliving it. She sat with her arms crossed and her head facing down. She was fighting back tears, but one managed to escape. She sighed and quickly wiped it away.

Matt glanced at Bailey every now and then to make sure she was okay, but was afraid to touch her or hold her hand. He quietly sighed and pressed his head to the window. Amber stared out the wind shield the whole ride, arms cross and face glaring. Neither she nor Aaron made a sound. Aaron pulled into the driveway and parked; Amber was the first out, managing to get to the door in seconds to wait on everyone else. Aaron was next; he pulled his key to the house out and unlocked it, and Amber disappeared inside with Aaron following behind her. Matt got out next. He went up the the front steps and sat down, waiting for Bailey.

Bailey got out. She walked in the same position she was sitting. She walked by Matt and inside. She went upstairs and into her bedroom. She sat on the bed and layed sideways. She looked at the ceiling and rolled her eyes. Her room was a mess thanks to Matt's hissy fit earlier.

(Pfft. Hissy fit. xD That's such a funny word/phrase...thing.)

Matt pushed himself up off the steps and went in after her. He followed her up the stairs and entered her room quietly, then shut the door behind him. He looked down to the floor as he picked the pillows up and went to his side of the bed; he kicked his shoes off and then gently hit her with one of the pillows before setting them at the head of the bed. He laid down next to her and moved close to her so that their bodies fit together. "Bailey," he said softly, putting one of his arms across her to have his hand rest on her stomach. "You know I love you. And you know you can talk to me about anything."

Bailey turned her head to look at him. She shook her head. "I don't want to talk about it," she said as she turned her head towards the ceiling again. She sighed heavily. She knew she could tell him, but she didn't want to say anything right now. It was too hard on her.

Matt sighed and ran his hand across her stomach lightly. "Alright then," he said softly. He stayed quiet for a moment, thinking. "You don't have to take Amber so seriously. I think it's just her time of the month, you know how you women get." A light smirk crossed his face, then melted away. He reached down to grab their comforter hanging off the edge of the bed, pulling it up over them. He leaned up and kissed her temple lightly, and then turned over on his other side with his back to hers.

Bailey smiled a little. "I know," she said. "Us women." She giggled a little and then layed on her back for a minute. Once he turned over, she sighed. She turned on her side, facing his back. She made sure not to put too much pressure on her stomach.
