Bailey shook her head. "It won't be your fault. You didn't make it brake," she said. She knew he wasn't going to let it go. She didn't know how to convince him it wasn't his fault. She had so many thoughts in her head right now and they were all about what had happened. She looked at Matt. "I'm serious. Ok? It wasn't your fault. And if you say it was one more time, I'm not gonna be happy," she said seriously. She was hoping threatening would work, but who really knows?

Matt hugged her tightly and breathed shakily again. He still felt scared out of his mind, and it almost reminded him of a kid who had broken something valuable. He wanted to crawl in a hole and die, but knew he needed to be there for Bailey. He clenched his jaw and willed himself to calm down. "Alright," he finally said, voice a little more even. "Are you sure you don't wanna go to the health department? Otherwise we're going to have to wait a couple weeks to see if anything happened."

Bailey looked at him. "The health department isn't gonna do anything," she said. She sighed and sat on the sink. She rested her head on his chest and prayed that nothing would happen. She didn't know what to do or say. She knew if she was pregnant, he wouldn't want to keep it. That was what she was scared of most. Losing the child if she had one.

Matt wrapped his arms around her and ran one of his hands up and down her back. He gently kissed her head and set his own against it, sighing quietly to himself. "Everything's going to be fine," he whispered. "If something happens, Bailey, so help me God," He pulled one of his arms away from her and found one of her hands and twined their fingers. "I promise I won't leave you."

Bailey sat there and let his words sink in. She looked at him and smiled. "Because you're just that perfect," she said to him. One of her hands was still playing with his hair and the other still in his. She sighed softly and stood up. She kissed him once. "Can we get out of the bathroom?" she asked.

Matt smiled a little and kissed her back."Yeah, it's too cramped in here." He picked her up off the sink and carried her back into her room and lowered her down on the bed. "Now, about you getting up without those crutches.." he said, putting his clenched hands on his sides. "You're going to hurt your leg if you keep doing that."

Bailey smiled. "Suprising. You actually care," she said sarcastically. "I know I know I know." She sighed knowing he was right. "I'll use my crutches," she said looking at him. She put her arms behind her head and sat there. She was happy at the moment.

Matt sighed and sat down next to her. "Good." He leaned over and kissed her cheek. "If I didn't care we wouldn't have got this far." he said with a small smile. It faded the slightest bit when his eyes lingered to her stomach and stayed there for a few moments. He pulled his eyes away and shook his head.

Bailey smiled and it quickly faded away. "Matt don't worry," she said as he watched her stomach. "The more you think about it, the mire painful it will be." She grabbed one of his hands and intertwined their fingers. She looked up at him and kissed his forehead.

Matt held her hand tightly and leaned against her. He knew she was right, but he couldn't help but think about it. "I know," he said quietly with a slight sigh. "That's such a big thing though. I mean..I could be a dad." He reached over with his free hand and gently trickled his fingertips across her stomach a few times before leaving his whole hand there for a few seconds. "That's kinda scary."
