Matt smiled as he sunk down next to her and placed an arm around her shoulders. He pulled her close to him and slipped himself under the covers. He dipped his head down a little and kissed her head gently, then closed his eyes as he sighed with contentment. He soon fell asleep among the quiet house.

Bailey slept well for about an hour and a half. She woke up to hear Emma crying. She got up out of bed and walked into the nursery. She picked up Emma and walked downstairs. Bailey made a bottle and went back to the nursery, sitting in the rocking chair.

(Noon is too early to get up. D: I'm about to punch my grandpa for telling me to get up over and over.)

Matt grumbled a little as he felt a shift on the bed. He turned over and curled up a little on the mattress. He fell back asleep for a few minutes before sitting up and rubbing his back with a grimace on his face. He eventually swung his legs over the side of the bed and walked slowly out of the room. He turned off into the nursery and sunk into one of the chairs.

Bailey looked up to see Matt. She finished feeding Emma and then burped her. Bailey stood up and walked over to Matt. She handed him Emma. "So are the police like spying on the house?" she asked him. It felt wierd to be watched all the time.

Matt reached up and took Emma from her and leaned back into the chair. He shook his head. "I don't think they're here yet." He pulled himself out of the chair and went to the window. "I don't think they would be 'spying' on it per se. Maybe just watching it, but that's about it. I assume they'll bring cameras up here and set them up." He stared out over the playground. "I'm going to town later to get some stuff. You need anything?"

"Oh. Ok," Bailey said looking out the window. She turned to look at him and shook her head. "No. I'm good," she said, not thinking of anything. She looked back out the window. She looked up at the sky and watched the trees blow in the wind. She sighed and sat back down.

Matt let one his fingers smooth over Emma's dark hair. He continued to stare out the window in silence, thinking quietly to himself. "You'll be okay alone, right? I can have someone come stay with you if you want." he said as he turned around, leaning back against the window seal.

"I'll be fine. Don't worry," Bailey said looking at him. She knew he was worried and so was she. The minute he left, she'd be defenseless. She just hoped she'd be fine. She knew it would be better if someone came to stay with her, but it made her look weak.

Matt sighed and looked at her. As if I'm not going to worry, he thought to himself. He knew he'd worry himself all the way to town and all the way back. "Well," he started, pushing himself away from the window and walking towards her. "If that's what you want, then I guess that's alright." He handed Emma to her. "I might be back within an hour. It depends on how fast I can get out of Verizon with a new phone." He chewed on the inside of his bottom lip. "You sure you'll be okay?"

Bailey took Emma from him. She stood up and nodded. "Yeah. I'll be fine," she said. She walked back into her room. She set Emma on the bed. She looked at Matt and could tell he was worried. "If you're not comfortable with ne being by myself then call Amber or Aaron. You don't have to worry," she said to him.
