"You know, I still think you're uptight"
Nathan replied with a grin, and closed the door

(( Sure. Can you? I'm sort of busy. ))

Nathan tucked his silk shirt into his freshly pressed pants. It was more of a formal party, so he wanted to look nice.
"Elizabeth"
he called out, he wanted to make sure she was prepared

Elizabeth hurried over at his call, hovering a few feet away.
"Yes?"
she said quietly, even though she knew what he wanted. They'd agree that, if his parents asked, she was to say he was not feeling well and had stayed in his room for the night, deciding to go to bed late, and he asked that he not be disturbed and that they not worry about him.

"You know what you are supposed to say, right?"
Nathan asked, still a little uneasy of her ability to lie for him

Elizabeth nodded, reciting the words he'd had her repeat multiple times for the past hour or so.
"Master Nathan is feeling ill and wished to go to bed early. He asks you don't worry about him and just let him rest,"
she said with a sigh.

[Vampicorn]

"Good"
Nathan replied with a smile, he hoped she was more confident than he was
"So, since you seem to be the type to care about this sort of stuff,"
he started, with a slight reddening of his cheeks
"How do I look?"
Nathan finished asking, his cheeks getting redder by the minute

Elizabeth blushed slightly at his question, but she did look him over when he turned. She had to say, he looked... rather nice. She blushed at the thought, looking down at the ground.
"Fine, Nathan. You look fine. Now, go, please."
She didn't want him to be late, for some reason, or get caught dressed up by his parents or another maid.

[Vampicorn]

"Oh, well, thanks"
Nathan said, his cheeks reddening
"Before I go, after my parentse go to sleep for the night, I will need your assistance getting back into my room,"
he started, motioning her to follow him into his room. Stopping in front of his large bay window, he said:
"I will have this window unlocked, but seeing as I will probably be drunk, I will need your help once I climb as far as I can go, can you do that for me?"

Elizabeth held back a sigh at his other request.
"I can do that,"
she said quietly.
"Just try not to try and get in unless I'm already here. I don't need you falling into the bushes and bursting out laughing or something if you're intoxicated."
