One x One: Vampicorn & Nightshade2012

[Vampicorn]

"Uptight, upstanding, same difference, either way you have no fun, ever."
Nathan said, leaning back against the wall

[Nightshade2012]

"I should be offended,"
Elizabeth said, looking over at him with a slight smile,
"and yet I am not, for some reason. I have my own fun, Nathan."
Wow, she'd actually called him by his first name. That was a milestone.

[Vampicorn]

"Oh really? I didn't realize cleaning my fathers trousers counted as 'fun'"
Nathan said, rolling his eyes

[Nightshade2012]

"That is not fun,"
Elizabeth said, looking over at him as she paused.
"I have my own fun, though. You just wouldn't understand. Your fun consists of drinking until you cannot remember why you were drinking and hitting on women you don't know." She knew she shouldn't talk to him like this, but she did.

[Vampicorn]

"Well, I don't drink that much, and I am not that type of man, I do not hit on women"
Nathan replied, hardening his gaze

The confidence that had allowed Elizabeth to get this far talking to him failed her, and she ducked her head. Her red hair hid half of her face from view as she turned away from Nathan, once more tidying his things.
"I apologize, I spoke out of place. It won't happen again."
She'd had employers before who had been furious when she'd spoken like that. It had only taken two or three of them to stamp a permenant fear into her when she did that.

[Vampicorn]

"As I've told you before, you are hired by my parents, we are equals in my eyes"
Nathan sighed, rubbing his temples
"And you said you weren't uptight, I hear worse on a nightly basis and the only apology I usually get is someone's fist colliding with me"

Elizabeth said nothing for the time being, her eyes downcast as she worked. Nathan confused her to no end. They had been making fun, and then she'd been sure he'd been a bit irritated by what she'd said. For a girl like her, that was frightening, to say the least.
"Is there anything else you require?"
she asked, hovering near the door.

[Vampicorn]

"Actually yes, a dear friend of mine is throwing a party, and I will need your assistance getting there"
Nathan said, running his fingers through his hair. This was always the ultimate test of the new maids, were they willing to help him sneak out

"My assis -- oh,"
Elizabeth said slowly, her eyes widening as she looked at him.
"I-I don't know if I will be much help."
She was terrible under pressure, and if it came down to being questioned, she'd spill where he was without hesitation.
