[Vampicorn]

Nathan looked up from his search for shards, to see the maids hand cut and bleeding
"You're bleeding,"
he saide gently, examining her hand
"I can help,"
he said, and retrieved a torn piece of fabric, to wrap her hand in
"Reach out your hand"

Elizabeth stopped in her work when Nathan noticed her cut hand, opening her mouth to protest when he got up to help. She was not used to her employers offering to help her... She did as he told her and held out her hand, exposing the cut across her palm.
"I-I'm fine, really," she mumbled, even though she didn't try to move away.

[Vampicorn]

Nathan tenderly wraped the cloth around the cut
"So, you're new here, what's your name?"
he asked flashing her a kind smile and offering a hand to help her up

Elizabeth drew her hand back once he'd finished wrapping the cloth around it.
"My name's Elizabeth, sir,"
she said quietly, accepting his hand and getting up. She let go of it quickly, looking away shyly as she set the fragments of glass on the counter, to be disposed of later.

"As you probably already know, I'm Nathanael, call me Nathan though"
Nathan said smiling at her.
"And no need to call me sir, my behavior recently has not warranted that title"
he said with a glum smile

Elizabeth managed not to frown when he said not to call him sir.
"Then what do I call you?"
she asked, looking down at the floor.
"Maids are taught not to call their employers by first names. It is like we are their equal, when we're told that we're not."

[Vampicorn]

"Just call me Nathan,"
he said flashing her a friendly smile again
"And I am merely your employer's son, so in my eyes we're equal"

[Nightshade2012]

"Well then, um, Nathan..."
she said slowly, a bit unsure of herself.
"Is there anything else I can help you with?"

[Vampicorn]

"Yes actually, there is something you could do for me"
Nathan replied and sarted rifling through his many dressers until he found the shirt he had been wearing the previous night, with a large purple-ish red stain on it
"I sadly had some wine spilled on this shirt, and I don't think my parents would be too happy if they saw it in the regular laundry, do you thing you could possibly help me clean it?

Elizabeth took the shirt form him carefully, like it was a live bomb or something, looking over the stain.
"I can fix it,"
she said finally, handing it back to him.
"Turn on your sink and fill it with cold water. Set the shirt in there for now; I need to get something."
She hurried out of the room to go borrow some baking soda from the kitchen.
