Katerina smiled, snuggling up to his side. "You're warm," she murmured, pressing her cold feet against his legs.

Elijah yawned, eyes fluttering open. He smiled down at her, and stroked his hand through her hair. "How do you feel?" he asked.

Klaus smiled warmly down at her but jumped and gave a small yelp when her cold feet touched her warm ones. He then relaxed and kissed her forehead.

Aurora mumbled a bit as she snuggled close to him. "I feel rather sore...." She looked up at him and smiled a bit, kissing his cheek.

She laughed, smiling. "Sorry," she said, but didn't really sound very sorry. She moved her arm and gasped, her eyes widening as she gave a whimper, slowly putting her arm back. "Klaus?" she asked. "How... How bad is my back?"
4 Long, deep cuts covered her back, and hurt like h*ll.

"Sorry," he said, smiling gently. "I know you told me..."

klaus looked at her back and he couldn't help but suck in a deep breath. He quickly got up and got a wet rag and began to very gently clean the cuts. "Its rather deep..."

Aurora glared teasingly at him. "I know! That hurt much more than dying!" She then giggled and snuggled up to him. "Mmm...but after?...Amazing..."

"Klaus!" she exclaimed, digging her hands into the sheets. "That hurts!"

Elijah chuckled, nuzzling her neck right below her ear. "Sorry," he said sincerely. "I promise its not so had after the first time."

Klaus looked down at her sadly. "I know sweetie, I know...But I have to or else they will get infected..."

Aurora smiled and held onto him as she ran a hand through his hair, smiling warmly at him. "Mmm...I shall take your word for it."

"I know," she said, her voice strained. She willed herself to un-tense, but couldn't.

Elijah smiled. "Good," he said. "What time do you have to pick Saraup?"

Klaus kissed the top of her head as he looked at her. He soon wrapped around her wound.

Aurora groaned and looked around at the clock. She smiled and snuggled up to him. "We have an hour and a half."

Elijah nodded absently, stroking his hand along her arm. "How did you die?" he suddenly asked.

Katerina sighed, laying her head back on the pillow. The wounds smarted horribly, but she forced herself to push the pain away.

Aurora looked down as she began to think. "My best friend and I...we were walking home from school when we were suddenly surrounded by this gang...Me being me, I somehow got her to escape but as she tried to run, one of the members went to shoot at her...I jumped in the way..."

Klaus massaged her shoulders slightly as he kissed the top of her head. "You handled that really well..."
