Carmon sighed and finished his coffee. He stood up and walked out and went to the teachers lounge and got another cup. He had to get out of the class and away from Naomi for a few minutes so he could get his head strait. He walked back and sat back down. He said nothing and he read his topic. He noticed that Naomi was listening to music and thought about how song lyrics are like poems. He got a great idea for a project and eraced the board.

Naomi looked up slightly as Camron erased the board. She paused her song and pulled out one earbud. She watched as he wrote on the board. She pulled out the second earbud and looked up at him, confused. "New lesson?" she asked quietly, putting her iPod and headphones in her pocket. She didn't look up really, she just watched out of the corner of her eyes.

"yes I just got a better idea." Camron said smiling slightly "and I think you will like it alot." He added. He wrote 'Poems and Songs' up on the board. Then he sat down at his desk and looked at her "well what do you think of todays lesson?" He asked. Then he half smiled. He did not tell her that he got the idea when he was looking at her, but it was true. He looked at the clock and saw that they had about a half hour before class started.

Naomi smiled slightly. "Sounds good to me." she said quietly. She looked down at her desk and bit her lip slightly. She wondered how the other students would react, if they would be fine with the assignment or if they'd start mocking her. She shook her head, trying not to think of her classmates. She knew she would probably be gone in a week or two anyways.

Camron smiled glad that she approved. Camron smiled. He sat at his desk "so can I see your latest drawling?" He asked tring to start a conversation. He thought that this would work he really liked to talk to her. He had desided this last night while he waas laying in bed. He shook the thoughts out of his head and waited for her responce.

Naomi looked up at him, her eyes wide and her face slightly red. "I- uh.... S-sure." she stuttered. She gulped and opened to the page with the Camron's face on it, hoping he wouldn't realize it was him. "It's.... Umm.....just something I drew." she said, shrugging, trying to make an excuse. She covered her face wih her hands, her face feeling uncomfortably warm.

Camron walked over and stood next to her and smiled relizing it was himself. "this is really good." he thought for a few minutes. He relized how close he was to her. They were almost touching. He studied the drawling for a few minutes.

Naomi smiled. "Thanks." she whispered. She tucked her hair behind her ear and looked up at him slightly. "It... It took me a while, but I got it right after a while." she said, explaining slightly. She bit her lip and looked back down at her hands on her desk. She sighed quietly and looked up at him. "You really think its okay?" she asked quietly.

"It is really good I promice." Camron said smiling. He was looking at her. He then relized he was slowly moving closer to her he stood up straight and went back over to his desk. He had to keep some distance from her. He leaned agenst his desk facing her. He sighed softly. He picked up his coffee cup and took a small sip looking at her. He hoped she had not noticed him moving closer to her but was pretty sure she had. He sighed softly again and looked up at the clock. '20 more minutes till class starts.' He thought then looked back at her.

Naomi bit her lip, realizing he was moving closer to her. She shook her head as he moved away, slightly glad, but slightly upset at the same time. She closed her notebook and put it in her bag, looking up at the clock. 20 minutes until class started, and nobody came early unless they needed help with something. She sighed and shook her head, not wanting to draw, or listen to music.
