Retto wiped his tongue with a hand to get rid of the 'filth'. "See ya" Retto said and strolled out the kitchen with his food.

Skipper saw Retto and began to open the front gates, assuming he was going to leave now that he ahd food.
Have you ever felt that warm glow inside you? The one which makes you feel like you could overflow with happiness and affection for your world. I get that feeling everyday, every hour, I make the best of what I have and see beauty in everything. You look at me or whisper behind my back, calling me strange. Strange may be your word for me, but my word for me is happy. Some may think I am sad and lonely but in my mind I soar free and am full of happiness and calm. Retto gave Skipper a salute and went through the gate. He carried on walking, holding his food over his shoulder and went deeper into the forest.

Skipper watche dhim go and then shut the door to the abbey, making sure it was locked properly. Then he went to see how Drift was getting on with the dibbuns.

Retto scurried back to his Vermin 'family' and told them all about Redwall and the sword. They planned to raid Redwall for their food and to take the sword of Martin.
