"True" He mused with a smile and moved his hands to her hips still going with the music. Though he didnt get very close to her, he was nervous. He wouldnt deny that. He just prayed that she wouldnt take this the wrong way, It was how he danced with his friends that happened to be girls, though this was purely being friends living their lives.

Chloe laughed a little, "Exactly!" she said, as she continued to dance. She really got along with him, a little more than she had expected she would of. She didn't know why, but she felt a little odd around him, and she couldn't think up any explanation for why, as they got along really well. She was guessing that the alcohol was probably getting to her, but she really didn't expect that was the reason. It must have been something else.

Before he let his feelings get a hold of his control and he stopped walking her off the dance floor and over to the lounge finding an open seat he sat down with her. After talking to her and others having fun and making friends for a while a group of guys caught Gary's attention. His eyes and head darted over to them as they walked towards him. "Great" He growled and locked eyes with the one in front. "Chlo, stay here" He said and got up walking straight to them with a scowl twisting his face. "What are you doing here Mark." He spat and got chest to chest with him. Reading his thoughts through his amber eyes, he knew he was looking for a fight and this is where his hot head came in. Gary kept pushing him back away from Chloe whom was also on his mind. "Beat it" He growled in his face and Mark pushed Gary in the chest knocking him back. Gary pushed right back and the fists started flying. Fortuneatly they were close to the side door and ended up bursting right through it onto the sidewalk outside in the ally way and the supernatural strength took over. Gary grabbed Mark by the collar of his shirt slamming him into the concrete cracking it. "Stay away from her you blood sucker!" He roared in his face. "Not a chance" He growled back and wrapped his hands around Gary's neck and squeezed choking him.

Chloe watched him walk off, with confusion. But, she was going to do what he said, and stay there. Problem was, her curiosity always got the best of her, as she wondered where he had gone, and who that was. She took her glasses off and put them in her pocket, standing up, and walking over to the bar. She got a stronger drink this time, before looking to where Gary had gone. She downed it quite quickly, and then slowly walked around the people there, wanting to find out what was wrong, and why Gary had left. She slowly wondered over to the door that they had burst out of, just walking slowly, she didn't want Gary to notice her, if he returned back to the club.

By the time Chloe reached the door Gary was already on the ground alone and gasping for air from his crushed windpipe. Covered in cuts a bruises he rolled on his back, already having the wind knocked out of him and a crushed windpipe surely didnt help the matter. He gave a raspy groan and clutched his side from where they kicked him.

Chloe gasped as she saw Gary in the mess he was in. "Whoa! Gary, what happened?" she exclaimed, as she ran over to him. She quickly got her phone out, and put her glasses back on, as they were outside. She looked around for the guys that were there a minute ago, but had absolutely no idea where they were, or even where they could have gone.

He finally got his breath back and got to his feet taking her with him. "Chloe we have to leave. Now." Was all he said and he pulled her stumbling at first before getting his footing again and thankfully the truck was close. He helped her in before getting in on his side. "Never fails I always end up screwing up someone's day." He said and pulled onto the road and sped back out of the city towards the park. "Chloe, believe me i wish i could tell you what's going on but.." He trailed off and looked at her then the road.

Chloe watched him with a slight frown, "Well, why can't you tell me? You just got like attacked by someone, surely I should know what's going on?" she asked him, watching his expressions, carefully. She didn't have a clue what was going on at the situation they were in, but she wanted to know. Only thing is, she could tell that he didn't want to tell her. She looked at her phone for a second, before placing it back in her pocket. She had gotten one single text from Mike in the whole time, which she didn't care about, right then. She kept her glasses on, however, and kept watching Gary, wishing she could read his emotions to find out what was going on.

"I'm not allowed to tell you what that was about Chloe, but please just do one thing for me" He said and parked the truck at the park. He handed her a piece of paper with his number on it. "Call me if you have any problems..What those guys wanted was you. That's all i'm allowed to say.." He said and looked at her in her eyes with a pleading look that was identical to the ones when he first got face to face with her in the thorns. "Im sorry.." He said his eyes going soft.

Chloe looked at the paper and then put it in her pocket, then looked up at Gary with a sigh. "But, why can't you tell me? It's me they want.." she replied, and then thought a little. "But.. why would they even want me in the first place?" she asked, as confusion started to show in both her voice and expression. She really wanted to know what was going on, but if he couldn't say, than she wouldn't make him say.. but she wanted to know what it was all about.
