Next thing he knew Gary's phone buzzed loudly in the cupholder and he looked at the caller ID, it was the Sargent. He turned the radio down and answered it. "Yes sir?" He said into the receiver and through an exchange of orders and yes sirs he finally hung up. "I thought he was done with me. I'm Sorry Chloe, but we have to make a stop at work" He said with a sigh and looked at her. "I thought I was off duty tonight. I hope you dont mind" He said and had to make a u-turn.

Chloe smiled at him. "Ah, hey, don't worry about it, it's not your fault." she replied, not too bothered that he had to go work. As long as she was away from Mike, she didn't care where they went, just anywhere away from Mike was a yes from her. She looked back out the window again, as she watched where they were going, hearing her phone go off again. She slightly frowned, she was going to sort the messages out once they stopped, and were at Gary's work place.

He drove back down the strip and towards the outskirts of town and soon the air base came into view with the jets sitting in their hangars and some out on the runway all alone in their own glory. My jet though had a problem, and that was one of the reasons i had to come back to supervise the maintenance that needed to be done on it. When we got there I flashed my badge and told them I had a guest with me and they let us through with no problem. "I probably wont be here for long, but you are welcome to come in the hangar with me" He said and looked over at her.

Chloe watched everything that passed as he drove, and nodded as he spoke. "Sure." she replied, and then slipped her phone out, replying to Maria and a few others from the football team before reading through the texts from Mike. She frowned as she read them, yet again they were the same. Excuses, and even more excuses. She just deleted them and put her phone back in her pocket, and then looked over at Gary, with a smile, in an attempt to just forget about Mike completely, for at least a little while.

Gary pulled into the hangar seeing that there was someone already in the belly of his plane and he growled. "he knows I dont like him" He said and stopped the car and got out saluting his officer before asking to speak freely. His jet sat there being invaded by some stranger and he wasnt happy about it. "I thought I was the mechanic on my own jet, or Mark should be here fixing it" He said to the officer. "Not Mike" He said

Chloe suddenly froze when she heard him say Mike's name, "Yeah, I'm going to stay in here, I think." she said, she wasn't going anywhere near Mike, she didn't have the guts, too. She couldn't stand Mike as it is, and she could only imagine how embarrassing he would act, purposely around Gary. She knew Mike, and he would jet quite jealous of her just talking to another guy. She watched who she was guessing was Mike from a distance, as she just wished that it wasn't him.

He turned to say something to her but she was already back in the truck before he could, then he looked over at Mike with a scowl. "So you're telling me that I have to stand here and watch this monkey work on my jet? When i could be having a great night out with a friend..I cant believe this" He growled and his officer gave him a very stern look and reprimanded him for his attitude. "Mike get out of there, Let him take a look" his officer said and Gary took off his jacket and laid it over the hood of the truck and walked over to replace Mike. He crawled out and Gary crawled in to inspect the so called 'damage'. There was in fact some damage but it could've been fixed easily with someone who knew what they were doing.

Chloe watched him for a second, and then pulled her phone out, and ext Maria, texting that she was worried, as Mike was also there. She couldn't stand that every second she became more and more worried, thinking Mike was going to notice her. But she stayed quite hidden, using her phone to help cover her face. Yet again, she had another message come through from Mike, and just frowned, deleting it again,, without reading it. She was going to ignore him continuously, until he decided to leave her alone.

Before long he had his plane fixed and he was getting cleaned up, Looking back over at Mike with a scowl and he just gave him a grin and looked over to the truck. Then a gust of wind came through and the smell of Mike's cologne found Gary's nose, then the recognition hit him. That's who he smelled on her jacket. "You know her?" He asked as he looked at the truck at Chloe.

Chloe looked out of the truck for a second, but then noticed Gary was talking to Mike, and looking this way. "Great!" she muttered, as she ducked down, in an attempt to hide herself from Mike's view. She knew that there was a bigger chance that he had seen her than missed her, but hey, she tried her best to avoid Mike, even if she knew it was going to fail. Although she was hide she continued to text Maria, almost begging for Maria to come and save her from Mike.
