A few hours later back at his apartment he was getting ready to leave and Seth came over, though Gary was still a bit ticked at his antics. Gary began brushing his teeth when Seth walked in and the plant on the sink reached out and poked him in the side of the head and he stopped brushing a frothy mouth went into a straight line with the brush stuck inside. "Seth I will bite your head off where you stand if you dont knock it off" He said and if he had ears they'd be pinned to his skull. He finished up brushing and washed his mouth out before putting cologne on. Which brought him back to last night, that smell of the cologne on her jacket was too familiar for him to forget, but he couldnt remember. "I wish you would let me do things on my own terms" He growled at him as he passed him in the doorway. With Seth being his roommate he had no choice but to put up with him and his plants. "Next time you do that, im just gonna lift my leg all over it." He said and Seth laughed, "You better not!" he said and Gary smiled. "Please behave while im gone" He said and put his hoodie on over his Aeropestale shirt and fixed his jeans before heading out the door to his truck to drive over and meet her at the soccer field.

Chloe had quickly dashed home, to replace her black hair extensions. Without them, her hair would be blonde, with some thin, black streaks underneath, explaining her reason for using extensions. Once she had sorted her hair, she left her house again, putting her phone on silent as she walked. She told Maria to tell Mike that she was at her mother's if he was round, and wanted to speak to her or anything. He was sounding clingy still, even though she didn't want anything to do with him anymore, and it was really starting to annoy her. But as she walked, she decided to put her mind onto something else, other than Mike. So she decided to think about yesterday's match, and how she almost slipped up, almost destroying another season of matches. But she was so glad it was nothing more than a small bruise.

He pulled into the park his AC on high from the scorching heat that threatened to seep its way in through the windows of the truck was beaten before it could reach him. But he soon had to face it when he had to get out to pick her up at the fields. When he got there he got out, and there was a culture shock at how hot it was. He made his way down the path to the bench where they agreed to meet.

As Chloe walked, she was texting Maria, about Mike. No matter how much she tried to avoid him, he usually found himself back into her life somehow, and that was one of the things they were discussing, along with how clingy and pathetic it was. She then saw Gary making his way to the bench in the distance, and text Maria bye, as she slowly approached him. She was looking for ward to this, as it was her first actual time going out without Mike, and it would be good for her.

He smiled when he saw her and the cuts had pretty much healed from the night before. "You look good" He said with a smile and moved to walk with her towards his truck. "Now, here's how this is going to work, Since I am technically the chauffeur, I'll drive around town and you can pick where you wanna go. And if you want we can just drive down the strip and be cool with some big speakers and whatnot or we can be the dull normal people and just drive with no music" he chuckled and unlocked his truck when they got there.

Chloe smiled when he complimented her, "Thanks." she replied, and then listened to him as he spoke. She smiled again, "I don't like being a dull normal person, so we can be the opposite to that." she replied, with a small grin as she spoke. She just quickly checked her phone, frowning when she saw she had another text from Mike, which she really couldn't be bothered to read, as this was her one break from Mike, and she was going to take it. She slipped her phone back into her pocket, as she followed him over to his truck, "Nice truck." she replied, her smile returning.

"Thanks" He said with a smile and opened the door for her to get in and held it open as she got in before closing it and walking over to his side to get in. He hopped in the driver seat and started up the truck. It came to roaring life with the AC just as cold as it was before, a relief to his fiery skin. Then he turned on the radio, his CD came on and began to shake the speakers with the bass. "So, let me know where you want to go" He said as he pulled out of the park and onto the main highway.

Chloe nodded in reply to him as she listened to the music, "I shall do." she replied, and then looked out of the window. She felt her phone go off again, but just frowned, knowing it was Mike. "Stupid jerk.." she muttered under her breath, just wishing he could leave her alone for one day, that was all she wanted, But being who he was, he couldn't. And she absolutely hated that he couldn't leave her alone, even if he knew she hated him.

"I hope you dont mean me" He teased and nudged her looking over at her when he had the chance then looked back at the road. "Who ever he is I'll kick his ass for ya" He chuckled and took the exit for the strip and the traffic began to slow down and the lights lit up the inside of the truck.

Chloe looked at him with a smile and shook her head, "Oh, trust me. This jerk isn't worth the waste of time." she quite simply replied, with a smile. And that was her opinion on Mike, that he wasn't worth the time, and that wasting time on him was just stupid, which is what she had done, but she was determined on not letting him waste her time, anymore, as she was slowly starting to get over his clingyness and patheticness, and move on.
