He sat up as soon as he saw her move. He could read the gist of her thoughts from where he was, and she sent him a message, he sighed knowing his phone was back home. Watching her he just wanted to be closer to her. The sudden lightning bolt crashed down in her yard, a small one but a bolt nonetheless. He didnt flinch, he knew that one of those leeches had something to with it and he growled just as loud as the thunder that followed.

Chloe suddenly jumped at the lightning bolt, shaking her head after she noticed what it was. She was becoming worried now, about being alone with everything that was going on, so she called Maria, and arranged to stay at Maria's for that night. She put her jacket on and then left the house, texting Maria as she walked, so Maria would know if anything bad did happen, as she wouldn't get any reply, but they were both confident that she would be fine just walking to Maria's.

"what the heck are you doing?" He muttered to himself and got up and stayed against the tree line following her down the sidewalk until he couldnt follow any more without running into the fences. Instead now he snuck from one bush to the next behind her. But only came out when he couldnt see her anymore.

Chloe frowned a little, as she could sense something was around, but she wasn't sure who or what it was. She continued texting Maria, telling her everything that was going on around her, and anything odd, like her sensing she could tell someone was around. Maria just told her to be careful, and to be alert, as anyone could appear from anywhere at any point, especially when she would least expect it.

Everything was going fine, down that lonely sidewalk with just a few bushes lining the concrete but then he stepped on a sharp twig and he let out a yelp and a grunt that he couldnt hold back. It was like stepping on a leggo when you first wake up in the morning. It hurt, great way to go now you're gonna get shot dummy his conscience spat and he just rolled his eyes and laid low but the bush he darted into was very sickly looking, the leaves barely covered him. Especially with his arctic white underbelly.

Chloe suddenly jumped when she heard a yelp, and text Maria, quickly, that she heard something. She then turned around, to find out who it was. She looked around, not spotting anyone, but then noticed something around a bush and slowly approached, "Hello?" she said, cautiously. She couldn't believe she was actually walking over, as for all she knew, she could be walking right into a trap, but she just kept thinking to herself that there was a possibility it wasn't.

He sighed and looked up at her, his eyes glowing in the stormy light, and his ears were perked and forward. The flash of lightning lit up the inside of the bush and now he might as well come out. There were no houses on this street, so it was safe with just her. He took one step out, this time standing at his full height and walked over to her, his body almost seeming endless until his tail rose marking the end of the creature. please dont run he thought closing his eyes and looking down and to the side, averting his eyes from hers.

Chloe smiled when she noticed it was just the wolf she met after soccer practice, "Ah, hey, it's just you." she said. She then text Maria, saying it was just a cat, as her excuse. She couldn't tell her that there was a 5ft wolf standing in front of her, Maria would have thought she was insane. But now that she considered him not a threat, she calmed down, still staying alert for any actual danger that was around.

He looked up and was a bit shocked that she recognized him...but then again how can you forget a five foot wolf? He walked over to her and sat down touching his nose to her cheek to let her know that he truly wasn't a threat to her and never will be. Then he heard a noise and the familiar rotting dead smell hit his nose and he bent his head down and scooped her up onto his back and began to run to get her towards some houses, Though no matter where he turned a vampire always cut that way off and soon he wasn't able to stay on the road. Now with her on his back he had to keep going.

With shock, Chloe held onto the wolf's coat, and stuffed her phone into her pocket. She had absolutely no idea what the wolf was doing, but whatever it was, she trusted him, and knew that whatever he was doing had a good reason behind it. She quickly stuffed her glasses into her pocket as well, as she wasn't going to lose them. She did get a little worried, as she knew Maria would start getting funny, and worried herself, about not getting a reply.
