The plane started its descent to Paris.

"what?! Why?!" I scream whispered.

I buckled my seatbelt.

I shrugged, then looked at him and blinked. "You didn't know that she's been made an 'outcast'-" I put air quotes around that, "-by almost the entire student population? Sammi's her only friend, from what I heard. Apparently she gets abused by her mom at home, then at school too."

I looked around the plane.

"that is not okay." I growled.

"Abby, sit down or you'll fall.

I shook my head. "No way, man. She didn't come to school for a week once; just hid in her closet. But you gotta give her credit: she stays strong through all of it."

I blushed and sat down. "Err, sorry..."

I put my hand between him and the phone. "If you wanna help,tell her how you feel or something," I said, suddenly switching into Mr. Phill-love-doctor mode.

I smiled slightly and looked out of the window again, my hair draping over my face.
