Rue screamed and started running back towards Luna

Austin smiled and swung his fists at the girls, enjoying their fear. Luna dove below Austins arm, stabbing him in the back with her dagger.
Austin fell to the ground, the smile on his face gone as the life drained out of his eyes.
Luna retrieved her dagger and grabbed Rue's arm, sprinting away from the dead boy.
Ember's eyes widened and she jumped at the sound of the cannon. She sunk farther into her corner, trying to hide from death.

Wyatt jumped a little, fear surging through is body but he relax, "Its ok" he murmered, realizing it must have been some distance off

Rue followed Luna, holding in a scream. Tears had started streaming down her. A second cannon went off....Lile was dead

Luna almost fell at the sound of the second cannon. She kept her balance, though, continueing to run.
Ember closed her eyes shut when the next cannon went off, her green glowing eyes covered.

Rue stumbled, "I'm scared" she whimpered, wanting just to run all the way home.

Wyatt shivered, his eyes darting around, "I guess the careers have set to work" he said

Ember nodded, which was unnoticable because she was hidden in her corner.

"Its ok." Luna said to Rue, continueing to run.

Ember opened her green eyes
