Rue ran up the tree and took her knife out. She watched the scene from above. She was afraid and fighting back tears. She didn't want to die and she didn't want to watch anyone die

Lile smiled, "or will you? maybe i'll just kill the little one off first" he chuckled and took a step closer to Luna

"You'll have to go through me." Luna said, her dagger drawn and ready to kill.

"Haha. That won't be hard!" Lile poised his spear aiming at Luna, "once your down and suffering, i'll kill her" he smiled

Fear crept onto Luna's face.

"Scared sweetie?" Lile asked, advancing on her. 'This will be easy' he thought, a quick first kill of the games will make him a favorite and two in a row! HA! he smiled to himself. He was very proud of himself and hoped his father would be to.

Luna raised her dagger, she didnt want to die. "I dont want to kill anyone." She mumbled.

Lile laughed, "Kinda sucks honey, seems how were in the hunger Games" he stuck his spear out in front of him and charged at her. He thought this would be easy. He glanced up at Rue who was cowering in the tree. She had her knife posied, ready to throw at him, but he didn't notice

Luna sqeauled and tried to dodge the attack. It scraped her arm, making it bleed violently.

Lile laughed evily and rushed at her again, favoring her injured side. He was getting ready to slice at her again when Rue throw her knife, hitting lile in the upper thigh, near the artery. He fell to the ground, bleeding profusily. He had never thought that the little girl would do something so pulled. He could feel himself weaking and he tried to stop the blood and get up but he couldn't

Rue froze, unable to move as the knife sliced through Lile. She had a dear in the headlights look and was shaking slightly. She didn't know what had happened really. She just reacted.
