Art felt a twinge of pain at Bella's hurt-child expression. He slowly hugged her again, for her sake.

Bella couldn't help but feel better when Artyom hugged her, hugging him back. She pressed herself against him.

((Art: HEY! I have more jars! *throws a jar at Moony like a Pokeball at a Pokemon*
Me: *fake gasp* Oh no, a JAR!))

Artyom blushed as he realized he was feeling something from this. He shut his eyes and mentally cursed himself out, remembering that he was dating Velydia. Then again, he still had a crush on Bella, but....cheating was bad.

Bella sighed and pulled away slightly from Artyom, wiping the tears out of her eyes. "Thank you for being so good to me." she murmured, looking up at him and looking quite adorable.

Artyom blushed even more as he opened his eyes and saw Bella, looking as adorable as possible. He gave her a half-hearted smile and tried to keep his thoughts persisting of Velydia and grotesque scenes of violence, but the adorable was winning fast. He ended up hugging her again, tighter this time, softly nuzzling her neck and purring like a giant catfish.

Bella's mind was frazzled and she was hurt. All she wanted was to feel loved. Her roommate, who she had a crush on, was right there. Without giving it much thought, or really any at all, she tucked her finger under Artyom's chin, brought him up to face her, and kissed him.

((Art:...*leaves*))

Artyom was having the same reaction. He pulled away from Bella's neck at her finger's touch. He kissed her lips gladly, still purring through his gills.

Bella calmed under Artyom's lips and wrapped her arms around his neck, shutting her eyes and kissing him eagerly. Her cheek ached, but she didn't pay it any mind.

Slowly Art's fingers moved from on his lap to Bella's waist, pulling her just a little closer. He tried to stay away from her bruised cheek, but it was hard.

Somewhere in the back of Bella's mind, a tiny part of her was telling her to stop, but it was overruled by the rest of her mind that told her to do anything to get rid of her hurt. Her nimble fingers worked through Artyom's buttoned shirt and pushed it off of his shoulders as she fell back onto her bed, pulling him down with her.
