Velydia got up and opened the door for Artyom and smiled happily, letting him inside.She currently only wore a low cut tank top and shorts, but she didn't seem to notice."Your mate said it was okay?" She asked him.

Artyom paled and looked directly at Vel's face, pretending to not notice, "Yep. As long as we don't do anything stupid." He said and stepped inside, puttng his things on a bedside table.

"Of course." Velydia said offhandedly, looking a bit more comfortable with herself. "Before you told me your other mate was pregnant, we were working on reading words." She added.

Artyom opened his notebook, flipping the pages. In this notebook, he kept a record of what Vel knew, and what she needed work on, "We were going over verbs, right?" He asked.

Velydia nodded. "Yes, those." She said, going over to sit beside Artyom. She gave a faint smile when she remembered how their last tutoring session had ended.

Artyom nervously glanced over at Vel, then looked back at his notebook and started reading the verb notes, from the top. As long as he concentrated on learning, he wouldn't think about Vel...

Velydia smirked. Something she kept from telling Artyom was how vengeful mermaids were. Very quietly, she began to hum, just below Artyom's hearing range.

After almost five minutes, Artyom becan to feel a tickle. He paused, then, hearing nothing out of the ordinary, started explaining verbs again. A minute later, that tickle came again, and he looked at Vel, "Did you say something?" He asked, confused.

Velydia simply shook her head and motioned for him to continue, making her song more intricate and a bit stronger, just barely in Artyom's hearing range so it was merely a ring in his ears.

Mugen frowned again, but shrugged it off and kept reading. He turned a page and wrote down an example sentence, pointing out all the verbs and stuff, explaining it. The tickle came back, stronger, and he glanced at Vel's chest with a faint blush, but he shrugged it off again.
