Rayne glanced at the lead bandit. "So his name is... mace?" she said curiously. then she did a double take. "You are two thousand years old?" she exclaimed with surprise.

Grandfather nodded, "Yes. Mace is his name." The old man smiled at her surprise, "Yes. Two thousand years of seeing the generations come and go."

Froggy brought the tea to the big group first then made new cups of tea for Rayne and Grandfather.

Rayne shook her head. "but thats... isn't that impossible?" she asked. accepting the tea from the boy, she sipped on it.

Grandfather chuckled, "I was given the gift of immortality. Normally yes tis impossible."
Froggy gave Grandfather his tea, "Thank you child."

Rayne shook her head. the idea itself seemed impossible, but she couldn't do much other than accept it. She took another sip of her tea, and took the opportunity to examine the group closer.

Grandfather said, "The oldest person in the group is Mace. Then his cousin Frank....the redheaded prankster over there." Frank was doing bunny ears behind Mace's head. "And then the twins Jasper and Jason. Then Marcus Mark and Mike the triplets. They are all related. Froggy is a distant relative."

[Crows]

Rayne looked at all the men in the group as the old man spoke their name. somehow they seemed less daunting, now that they had names. "Why are they bandits?" she asked cautiously. "somehow, they just don't seem cut out for thievery..."

Grandfather said, "Mace was kicked out at a young age. Other of these boys had the same thing happen so they joined together. First they started out stealing food then figured out they would get more money for kidnapping people. Froggy is dead set against it."

Rayne smiled at froggy. "The smartest of them all." she muttered under her breath. "How did mace get caught last time?" she asked curiously.

Grandfather chuckled, "Froggy left a trail to the cave. Thats why Mace always has Froggy with him now."
Froggy grinned, "I am an evil person."
