Koud stayed put in her spot in the air, her wings flapping to keep her aloft. She thought she heard someone coming, but she knew it was probably flame.

Before Flame could get any closer to Koud, he stopped and gathered all the power he could muster to transform into a temporary regular wolf, the flames dying away and his snake like pupils dilating. This was not easy, as when he was finished he had to lie down.
