Ikebukuro is home to many myths as well as the infamous "color gangs" that fight for territory in Ikebukuro. Kidnappings occur regularly and are often committed by Yagiri Pharmaceuticals to use in human experiments. Ikebukuro has many strange people, such as the insanely strong debt collector, Shizuo Heiwajima, and the underground doctor who lives with the headless rider Celty Sturluson, named Shinra Ki$hitani. A gang known as the "Dollars" recently showed up in Ikebukuro, and has grown to an immense size. The headless rider is a myth about a woman without a head that rides a motorcycle that makes no sound and has no headlight, and that she can make objects materialize out of darkness. Another myth has also arisen, known only as the Slasher. A large incident involving the Slasher recently occurred in Ikebukuro, and has caused much strife between the Yellow Scarves who recently regained their leader. It seems that another gang war may soon begin, this time involving the Dollars, the Yellow Scarves, and the army of the Slasher.

Tatsuya walked through Ikebukuro, green eyes holding much boredom. He clinked through the chatrooms on his phone, hoping one of his penpals would be on to entertain him. He let out a heavy sigh, "So lame~!"

Izaya walked into his office and sat in his chair, pushing off the ground and making it move backwards while spinning before he stopped the chair infront of his computer and entered a chatroom to see if anyone was online he could screw over.

"Why is no one on when I want the to b- Oh hey! Kanra's on!" Tatsuya smiled. Kanra was always fun. He pinged her immediately.

Noboru: Kanra! Thank goodness! I was afraid I'd die of boredom for a moment there.

Izaya smirked. "Ooh~! This should be fun~!" He chimed.

Kanra:Hey noburo! Sorry I couldn't get on any sooner, parents are a total snooze fest here. What's going on with you? Anything new?

"Bummer. Poor Kanra. She's always cooped up in that house of hers..."

Noboru: I wish something new would happen. I would kill to at least have Shizuo-san throw a freaking vending machine at me (>w<)

Izaya huffed. "Shizou's not all that great." He muttered.

Kanra: Wow really? I don't think shizoe is all that great. I mean he doesn't seem all that special to me. But hey, what ever. I've been stuck in my house all day today. My moms not home and my dad won't let me leave the house. Tempted to sneak out and see what Ikebukuro is like.
