Danni smiled, then looked outside. Her smile lowered into a scowl, "Shoot." She grumbled, "My parents are here. Agh! They expect me to have a perfect job, a perfect boyfriend, and I'm suppose to have my house in tip top shape! Shoot!" She closed the door quickly, locking it.

Carrie tilted her head, "It cant be that bad...."


Hunter smiled slightly, "Want me to help you clean?"

"That would help. But I have a bad job and no boyfriend. I'll just lie." Danni frowned, rolling up her sleeves. She began picking up all the broken things, throwing them in a trash bag.

Luke shrugged, "I'll show you, c'mon." He grabbed her wrist and dragged into a more private place. "Kay', ready?" He said, beginning to form into his hideous dragon/snake/human form. "Tell me I'm ugly."

Hunter started helping her pick up, "Well at least the house will be clean."


Carrie's breath had caught in her throat when she saw. She looked at the ground for a second then back at him, "You are still you. Even though you look like....that."

Luke chuckled, forming back. "Told you you would regret it."

Danni jumped at the knock on the door, "Holy mother of god!" She cleaned faster, talking randomly likeshe was on the phone. "Can you do me a favor?" She whispered to Hunter.

Hunter said back just as quietly, "Yeah."


Carrie tilted her head, "I am glad you showed me. In a....strange way."

"Just play along." Danni said, kicking the rest of the mess under her couch. She wandered over to the door and opened it, "Hey! Mom!... Robert." She said the man's name with disgust, obviously not liking him.

Her mom grinned and hugged her, but the man just nodded and kept smoking. "Can we come in?" She already made her way into the house, looking around. She jumped when she saw Hunter, "Danni who's this?"

Danni was dumb-struck. "Hunter. My boyfriend." She lied. "He lives around here."

Luke shrugged, "Oh well. Thanks for the bread." He looked out onto the running track they had through the forest, then ducked down pulling Carrie down with him. "Shh." He held his finger up to his lips, watching as the men in blacks suits surveyed around. "Their looking for me."

Hunter played along right away, "Hello Ma'am." He held out his hand to shake, "Danni told me a lot about you."


Carrie nodded and was quiet.

The lady gasped and shook his hand, "Oh Danni he is a mighty fine one! How long have you two been together?"

Danni bit her bottom lip, looking at Hunter for help. "Uh. Three..." She started.

Luke cursed as one of them pointed to the two claiming he saw a bush rustle. "Shoot." He whispered a few words, then automatically birds started swooping down and attacking the men. "C'mon!" He grabbed her wrist and began to sprint.
