Danni smiled slightly, "Thanks. But I need you to stay back unless I really need your help, if you use your claws they'll report you." She said, standing. "I can take care of them." She said, sliding down a slanted gutter. Headlights of a truck came up the road and stopped at the driveway, and three fat but muscular men came out. Danni put her hands on her hips, leaning her weight on one leg. "What do y'all want?"

Hunter had nodded a little bit. But he stayed on the roof and watched them interact. He was very tense.

The three men quickly walked towards her, reaching out. "Ooh lookie~ girly came back." One of the men cooed. Danni slapped their hands away, "If you're looking to do unpleasant things, just go back home. I'm not taking your drunk junk, besides I already have a guy in mind. Not one of you human mistakes." She said, backing up to the door. "Just go home. I brought Luke." With the name, the men froze and hurried back to their truck. Danni smiled slightly, then climbed back up to Hunter. "Easy as pie." She said, curling into a tight ball to beat the cold. But, she still was cold.

Hunter grinned, "But it was because you threatened to bring Luke out. I would be afraid too." He went inside and brought her a blanket, "Here."

Danni smiled, her eyes creased with sleepiness. "Thanks." She cuddled into the thick warmth. "Sorry for bringing you and your parents into this. Since I'm close to you, friend wise, they sent people to kill or capture you. I should of just stayed back and I shouldn't of knocked on your door..." Her voice softened as her eyes closed, dozing off.

Hunter listened to her talk. He didn't say anything but sense he couldn't sleep anyways he decided to take her place.

Danni shifted in her sleep, the top of her head leaning on Hunter's leg. She cuddled her knee's closer to her chest, pulling blanket tighter over her.

Hunter didn't move in fear of waking her up.

Carrie woke up sometime during the night and made sure that her mother was asleep.

Luke was mumbling to himself in the kitchen, bending a pan in the progress.

Danni slept soundlessly, occasionally stirring.
