Danni sighed and kept her eyes on the road to their house. This felt like one of the nights when a drunk hillbilly came.

Luke nodded, "What do you crave? I have all sorts of stuff." He said to the lady, smiling.

Hunter went to find Danni.

Carrie's mom said, "Oh I will eat anything."

Luke grinned, "We can share a apple pie that Danni made." He brought out a pie and cut it into two pieces, handing Carrie's mom one piece. "Hunter, if you're looking for my sister she's on the roof." Luke said, not looking at him.

Danni traced the lines on the roof, occasionally looking down the road.

Her mother smiled, "Thank you."

Hunter said, "Thanks." He went up to the roof, "Danni?"

Luke began to eat the sweet and gooey apple pie, groaning at how good it was.

Danni jumped slightly, then turned her head to look at him. "Oh hey. Shouldn't y'all be getting ready for bed? It's late."

Carrie smiled and shook her head thinking, 'boys'.

Her mother enjoyed the pie.

Hunter shrugged, "I dont think I could sleep right now."

Once Luke was done he sat the plate in their sink, then slugged off to bed. "I'll be sleeping if anybody needs me."

Danni shrugged, "You should sle- did you see that?" She stood, shivering slightly at the cold. "It looked like headlights down the road. Better not be drunk men."

Soon her mother went to bed. Carrie helped her.

Hunters parents went to bed.

Hunter sat next to Danni, "Its okay."

Luke snored away in his bed, his bottom sticking up and his cheek planted in the pillow.

Danni shook her head and sat down. "Drunk men from the towns try to burn down the house." She said, stretching her neck to keep a eye on the road. "And they're total creeps. They tried to... Undress me I guess." She cringed slightly, "But I taught them a lesson, casual me. But, they still come by."
