The 99th Annual Hunger Games-1x1 with Nikki and Vamp

"I have two little sisters, Hazel and Grace, and a little brother, Peter." She replied softly. "Grace is seven and Peter is four. Hazel is twelve." Vicky replied with a shrug. "All my life, or at least since our dad died, it's been my job to ensure the games don't dampen their spirits. That's why I took Hazel's place. She doesn't belong here."

[Vampicorn]

"Oh.. that's so...brave of you"
James said, avoiding her gaze. Family was always such a hard topic for him, ever since the accident

[Snow Eevee]

Hazel's eyes darkened slightly and she shrugged. "No... it was the cowardly thing to do." She said softly.

[Vampicorn]

"Risking your own life, to save one of your family, you don't find that brave?"
James questioned her
"It takes courage to be willing to do all that, to love your family that mch"

[Snow Eevee]

"No... i did it bcause i'm too weak to lose her." She said stiffly. She stood abruptly. "Why am I telling you this? We'll never be friends... we're about to be thrown into an arena to slaughter one another!"

[Vampicorn]

"What you call weak, is what I consider bravery,"
James started
"It's when you're the most selfless that you're the most brave"
he explained, and stood
"But if you feel that way, so be it, I guess I will see you in the arena then"

[Snow Eevee]

Vicky tossed her hair over her shoulder and snorted. "Technically you'll see me in training first... but whatever." She said snarkily, turning away.

[Vampicorn]

{ training is before interviews, if I remember correctly, so the next day they will be in the arena }

"I guess I will be seeing you in the arena then"
James said, and walked back to his room

Vicky sighed and headed to her own room, closing the door with a bit more force than was needed.

James thought to himself, and ordered a platter of some type of fish, with an exotic name he couldn't prnounce
