Travis cracked open the can, taking a long drink before answering, "No, it did not. He admitted it himself, it was all just a game to him. I can't deal with something like that, man."

[cswolf.]

His room-mate got a can of pop for himself and sipped it as he stood there in the kitchen area with Travis. "Did I not tell you that he was trouble?" He explained as he looked at him. "Maybe you heard him wrong?" He added as he looked at him. He didn't like seeing Travis so upset.

"Those were almost his exact words." Travis sighed, "I know you told me he was trouble, I just wanted to believe someone could like me, for once. But I guess I misjudged, I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the only one he was playing that "game" with"

His room-mate looked at him with a shrug and took another sip of his drink. "Well, just start ignoring him. He doesn't deserve your attention if he was treating you like that." He explained as he looked at him. "I agree that you were probably not his first or only victim. You will probably not be his last either." He informed him with a shrug. "Come watch a movie with me and Trey." He told him with a smile.

Travis nodded, walking over to the living room and sitting in the arm chair. He watched his roommate and his boyfriend cuddle on the couch somewhat morosely, wishing he could have something like they had. Alas, the only boy he thought he'd have a chance with turned out to be a snake.

His room-mate sat contently with Trey on the couch. He looked over at Travis. "Travis, you are never going to find a boyfriend sitting there moping. Go out in the world and explore?" He suggested to him. "That's how I found Trey."

"Can't I mope for one night without you on my case?" Travis huffed, before hitting his head back on the chair, "I guess you have a point. I'm going out." He stood up, grabbing his coat from the hook, "I probably won't come back til way later, enjoy your night to yourselves and don't say I never did nothing for you guys." He grinned before disappearing out the door.

His room-mate gave a wave to Travis as he watched him leave. He cuddled closer into Trey with a laugh as Travis left for the night. He looked up at Trey. "I think he'll fall back into that boys trap, don't you?" He sighed. He knew Travis was hopeless sometimes.

August was back at the cafe. He was working hard wiping the counter while leaning a bit on it to chat up a girl who was sitting at the nearby counter area on her laptop with her latte. Soon he had her number and he chuckled, winking and going back to his job.
