dan smiled, glancing at the assortment of movies. he picked up a movie that seemed interesting to him. he'd heard all about it on advertisements, and never got the chance to watch it. he picked up a movie of the title, "papertowns".
"how about this?" dan asked.



I watched that movie and oml it was gr88

ooo i havent seen that movie before oops, whats it about? ;o))

phil shrugged before nodding. whatever dan wanted to watch;he'd watch aswell. "yeah, sure." phil nodded, peering over and scanning over the back of the movie to get a hint about what it was about.

dan smiled, pleased with his choice. he waited for Phil to finish reading the back. he played with his sleeve, twirling the loose strings around his finger, he did this a lot. it had become a big habit now, and he'd really only do it subconsciously.

phil glanced up momentarily to catch dan messing around with his sleeves. why did he do that? he remembered a kid who'd do that in primary school and it was body language for an awkward feeling or insecurity. "why do you do?" phil mumbled, returning his gaze on the back of the movie

dan was startled, frantically looking up.
"oh, I dunno. it's not that I'm nervous around you, I'm not, it's just become a habit, I suppose." he answered uneasily.

phil nodded, nibbling on his bottom lip before opening the case and putting the disk in the dvd player. he hummed softly as he did so, biting one of his snakebites before returning to his spot on the couch next to dan.

he watched phil closely as he sat down beside him, blinking a few times. the boy had really bright blue eyes, which dan was somewhat fond of. he turned his attention to the screen, watching the opening credits roll.

phil shuffled around, glancing over at the other boy next to him. part of him wanted to lean against him or wrap an arm around him;but he didnt want to make dan uncomfortable. he sighed, grabbing a pillow and holding it tightly to his chest-turning his gaze over at the screen.

dan was near shivering at this point, wrapping his arms which were previously hugging his knees around himself, not wanting to bug Phil about getting a blanket.

phil noticed dan's shivering, slightly feeling bad. he reached over next to the couch and wrapped a blanket around dan, closing his eyes briefly when he wrapped his arms around him before pulling away quickly. "there, you seemed cold." phil murmured awkwardly, shifting his weight on the couch.
