[Tigme]

Emmet's eyes grew wide as he saw his wife coming towards him, "Okay, okay!" he shouted, shielding himself with his arms, "You can get them out, just please don't hurt me!"

[Arya22]

The woman stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening slightly. Had it really been that easy? She held out her hand. "give me the keys then please." she said, trying to keep the surprise away from her voice.

[Tigme]

It's alright! Take your time!))

"Fine, fine!" Emmet threw the keys towards her. Although be acted do strong and uptight, if anyone even acted as though they'd hurt him, he'd fold like paper. It was his one fault, and one he wasn't exactly proud of.

[Arya22]

Louise caught the keys and quickly unlocked the cells. "just leave." she whispered. "try not let anyone see you." she kept watching Emmet in case he tried something.

[Tigme]

On quite the hurry, Emmet left the building, still covering his head as he did so.

As soon as the doors to the cells were unlocked, Connor ran right up to his mother, "mumma!" he shouted, and wrapped his arms around her in joy.

[Arya22]

Louise cracked a smile and she wrapped her arms around her son. "Connor..." she closed her eyes for a short second. "I'm glad you'll be OK." she breathed.

Lena watched, trying not to feel too bitter. It wasn't as if she could still do that... The man who had killed her mother as a coward. He had run away and now...

[Tigme]

After a moment, Connor moved away, "Thank you for coming to us!" He honestly wasn't sure what he'd do if she hadn't come for them. Looking back at Lena, he could tell something was wrong and frowned, "Lena?" he said softly. He glanced back at his own mother, and wondered if this had to do with hers.

[Arya22]

Lena quickly looked away. It wasn't Connors fault. "nothing." she mumbled. Louise sighed very quietly as she looked at Lena. The poor girl had lost her mother... Because of her good for nothing husband!

[Tigme]

Even as Lena spoke, Connor could tell that something was wrong. Except... he wasn't too sure what he could do. It wasn't as though he could go back in time and stop his father. He looked away, towards the ground. He wondered what would've happen if he did kill his father when he first lit the house on fire. He blinked, knowing no matter how terrible of a person he may have been, he could never do that.

Louise knew she had to get them going. If anyone else came, she would never be able to scare them off like had Emmet. "you need to leave now. It's just not safe for you."
