kat laughed softly and nodded her head. hearing a familiar voice, she pulled the cucumbers off and laughed at maddox, looking to marcella with a playful roll of her eyes. taking a towel and drying her feet, she grabbed the formula out of her purse and walked over to maddox with a grin. "here you go." she mused, kissing nora's little nose. kat laughed even more when river came in wearing the little holder, natalie just casually sitting in it. whatever women were there were also all giggling at the two men.

maddox looked to the women with a chuckle. “i’m sorry i can’t get the formula anywhere else.” he shrugged. marcella smiled to river, wiping off her feet and giving him a kiss, then kissing natalia’s cheek.

kat smiled and gently kissed nora's nose. "it's okay, our girls need to eat." she chuckled, pecking maddox's lips and glancing to river with a grin. river grinned to marcella, natalia holding onto one of his fingers. "i changed three diapers so far." he declared proudly.

marcella grinned. “i’m so proud.” she stated, giving him another kiss. “we’re going to be prepared.” she smiled. “lets force them,” she gestured to maddox and kat, “to go on a date and leave their kids with us.”

river nodded his head happily, returning the kiss. as she mentioned forcing them, he chuckled softly. kat glanced over and grinned at the two. "date night would be great. " she joked with a laugh.

marcella smiled, wrapping an arm around river. “well, it’s settled. maddox can take you to a nice restaurant, and we’ll hang with the babies. tonight, so get ya ass ready maddox.” she joked with a smirk. “not around the babies!” he said protectively.

kat grinned as maddox corrected marcella, pecking his lips. "such a good dad." she murmured lovingly, river lightly rocking natalia when she began to get a bit fussy. "please don't ruin your just changed diaper." he sung under his breath as he lightly bounced her in the holder.

marcella smiled at river. “you’re going to be such a great dad.” she murmured, kissing his cheek. “and... later, can i talk to you, if that’s okay? something’s on my mind.” she said, rather nervously at that.

river grinned at marcella's words. "yeah, i hope so." he murmured. at her question, his brows furrowed in concern and he nodded. "of course. is everything okay?" he questioned quietly, and a bit worriedly.

marcella looked at him. “of course.” she said with a small smile. “i hust need to talk about some baby things, see when we can get the nursery together an’ stuff.” she said. that wasn’t exactly true. she wanted to tell him that she was excited for the baby, but just stressed at that point in the school year
