La Douleur Exquise (1x1 L.G. / Ember )

KYOYA

It takes me a while to relax and melt into Tamaki's touch, but when I do, tears stain his coat. I stay there for a bit, just listening to the sound of our breathing. Straightening up after a time, I push him up against a wall and kiss him, just staring into his indigo eyes for a time before sighing.

HIKARU

"Is everything okay?"

"Is everything okay with you?" Kaoru asks, edging closer to me.

"I'll be fine." I grin.

“Whats wrong? You know you don’t have to bottle up all your emotions. It’s not healthy. What’s on your mind?” Tamaki asked, hoping to comfort Kyoya even a bit.


“Yeah you’ll be running around driving Tama-chan crazy in no time!” Honey said.

“Don’t give them any ideas!” Haruhi said.

KYOYA

I open my miuth, biting back some words. I could lie and say everything is fine. But he would know that's not true. He knows me too well. Instead, I straighten his collar back out and step back. "I'm.... dealing, I suppose."

HIKARU

"Oh Kaoru and I have already been annoying Akito and Kyoya's Dad." I snicker.

"Yeah. He deserves it."

“Just know you don’t have to deal with it alone.” Tamaki said.

“He deserves that all right.” Haruhi said.

“Makes me wish we could cheer Kyoya up somehow.” Honey said.

Kyoya

I grin a bit, simply nodding and setting my head onto his shoulder as we embrace. My tears are all dry now, but what comes out of me can only be described as dry heaves of sorrow. "Thank you, Tamaki. You and the Host Club.... sometimes, you're the only family I have." I let go of him, running a hand through his beautiful blonde hair in an attempt to try and straighten it out. "I love you. You and everyone."

Kaoru

"Yeah." Hikaru tilts his head."But how?"

"How about.... we throw Kyoya and Tamaki out on a date?" I suggest, and Hikaru stares at me. "You know! Just the two of them! All sweet and stuff."

"You know... that could work." My brother nods.

“And we love you. Even those twins love you in their own way.” Tamaki said, smiling.

“Great idea!” Honey said.

“They definitely need to go on a date.” Haruhi agreed.

Kyoya

"Do they?' I chuckle, looking into the mirror to fix my own hair. "I guess they do, huh?" After splashing water in my face, I turn back around to Tamaki, smiling some. "Ready to go? The others must be worried about us."

Kaoru

"You think so? You think it's a good idea!" I gush and Hikaru nods.

"Hm-m. If only Kyoya-Senpai's pride didn't get in the way."

“Let’s go we can’t keep them waiting and worrying.” Tamaki said, putting his hand on Kyoya’s shoulder.

“What can we do about Kyo-chan’s pride?” Honey asked.

“No idea.” Haruhi said.

KYOYA

By the time we get back to the room, everyone is hush hush. They were obviously having a conversation before we entered the room. "Hi. Hikaru, how are you?"

"Fine. Fine." He grins.

“Yeah we were just talking....about having a party for Hikaru when he gets out!” Honey said, he wanted to keep the date a surprise for now.

“Sounds like a good idea. How about the beach?” Tamaki said, smiling.

Does He Seriously think I’ll go to another beach disaster? Haruhi sighed. “We could always go somewhere else.” She said.
