Warriors 1x1 - Kia_Bee and Weredog

[Weredog]

"I do not know. That is why I asked." Sungaze replied. He didn't find anything about his question strange, thinking he was just asking a regular straightforward question.

[Kia_Bee]

"Sorry, just a little jumpy because of the rogue sightings." Moonflower said

[Weredog]

"Oh." Sungaze said, falling silent. He was never very good at small talk. "Have you been out of camp recently?" He asked after a short while. He would assume not if she was so afraid of outsiders. "It is good for your health to exercise even when you are expecting kits." He added.

[Kia_Bee]

Moonflower's whiskers twitched a little upon hearing him. "H-How did you know I'm expecting kits?" She asked, clearly worried.

[Weredog]

Sungaze tilted his head slightly to one side, seeming confused. "I am a medicine cat. My mentor taught me how to recognize the signs." He explained. He often forgot that not everyone could pick up on such minute details about others' health like he had been taught to do. "Did you not want anyone to know?" He asked.

[Kia_Bee]

Moonflower nodded in reply, her head lowered. "I didn't mean for it to happen. A loner was in the territory and instead of chasing him off...I fell for him. Now my kits are going to be half Clan."

[Weredog]

"I will not tell anybody." Sungaze said. He cared far more about the health of his clanmate and her unborn kits than he did about the identity of the father.

[Kia_Bee]

"Thank you, Sungaze." Moonflower said, gently bunting his shoulder in appreciation.

[Weredog]

Sungaze nodded. He stayed quiet for a few heartbeats, thinking. When he finally spoke up he asked, "Have you thought about having somebody else pose as the father before cats start noticing?" He didn't know if she had anyone she felt close enough to trust with that. He was just trying to offer a potential solution to her problems.

"I have, but I don't know if they'll go along with it. I'm just worried Stonestar will send me and my kits into exile because their father isn't part of the Clan." She said, shifting her paws nervously.
