[Ember1989]

Tamaki had packed his belongings last night. He watched Honey filling a bag with candy and chuckled.

“What? I want to bring some sweets. Can I?”

“They would melt Honey-Senpai.” Haruhi explained as she walked into the host club.

“Well I’m not leaving without usa-chan.” Honey stated, hugging his bunny.

“It’s fine. You can bring him.” Haruhi said, smiling.

KYOYA

I rub my eyes, covering a yawn with my sleeve. How I hate getting up early... doesn't help that the twins and Tamaki woke me by jumping on the bed. "Make sure you don't get a cavity... please." I didn't sleep well at all last night. I cross my arms and shift my head to where I'm staring upside down at both Tamaki and Haruhi, closing my eyes for a brief moment. I hear Kaoru yawn, Hikaru banging his head against the coffee table.

"WHY'D WE HAVE TO GET UP SO EARLYYYY?!"

Kaoru shifts in his chair, turning around to face us. "So Haruhi."

"Ever been on a plane before?"

I run a hand through my hair, shuffling it up. "Quit being intrusive."

"WHAAAT?!" Hikaru whines again, raising his head up. "It was just a question!! Lay off, Kyoya-Senpai!"

I shoot up. "LAY OFF?! YOU THREE BROKE INTO MY ROOM THIS MORNING TO BOUNCE ON MY BED!! So yes. Pardon me if I'm irritable." I lay back down.

"Jeez! BOSS!! SHADOW KING IS OUT!!"

I shoot an accusing glare at the three, closing my eyes.

“Well you two started it! Tamaki said, backing away to hide behind Haruhi.

“Senpai...you and the twins are to blame...I did nothing to wake up Kyoya-senpai. And yes...I have been on a plane.” Haruhi said, trying not to roll her eyes at the twins invasion of her life.

“Sounds like fun.” Honey said.

“And if your tired you can sleep on the plane.” Haruhi added.

Kyoya

"Tired?" I beam over at Haruhi, swinging my legs over to the edge of the couch, sitting up and pushing my glasses on the bridge of my nose. "Who says that I'm tired?"

I hear Hikaru and Kaoru whimper before turning back to their coffee.

Smiling gently, I look from Haruhi to glaring over at Tamaki with a stretch. "So... when are we leaving?" I take a giant gulp of the coffee in my cup before licking at my lips, sitting back down, arm stretched around the back of the couch. "Is everyone ready?"

"Yep!" The twins sing, getting their bags quickly before running out the door. I adjust my sleeve, fixing the cuff, before going about straightening my hair in a nearby mirror, watching Tamaki discreetly as I do so.

"And remember not to cause any trouble... we all remember last time, don't we?" I turn around on Haruhi, smiling at her before humming, walking off with my bags.

“I don’t need to be reminded...” Haruhi said, blushing like crazy. She hoped nothing like that happened again. “Anyway, I’m ready to go.

“Maybe when we get back we can have a winter themed party. But for now let’s just enjoy ourselves.”Tamaki said, fixing his hair and adjusting his coat.

“Yay! Let’s go! I can’t wait to get on the plane!” Honey said as he followed Kyoya.

Takami held Haruhi’s hand, trying to be a gentleman.

Haruhi groaned but didn’t pull away.

My chest.... my heart sinks when I see Tamaki grab for Haruhi's hand. I take a deep breath, trying to subside my growing irritability. I bite at my lip as we walk out of the club building. I wonder what this trip will hold...

“I’m not a baby, Senpai. Let go...” Haruhi had had enough of Tamaki.

“Well pardon me for trying to be a gentleman.” Tamaki sighed and let go.

Once outside Honey grinned. “What a nice day! So how are we getting to the airport?” He asked.

“Taxi.” Haruhi said. It was all she could afford.

"Haruhi, please." I toss my hair out of my eyes. "Since the twins are providing airfare, the least I can do is call my limo."

The twins watch in anticipation as I hit a button on my phone. "And your Dad won't mind?"

I shift my weight and stick my hand in my pocket, clearing my throat. "Why would he?" I growl. "Gives him a chance to get me out of his hair, since I'm APPARENTLY SUCH A PROBLEM!!" I take a step back and re straighten my hair. "Sorry...sorry. "

“Idiots did you have to bring him up?!” Takami yelled at the twins.

“Tama-chan...cheer up. They are just trying to cause trouble.” Honey said.

“And we aren’t even on the plan...Why are you guys so nosy?” Haruhi frowned at the twins.

Kyoya

I'm honestly taken aback when I hear Tamaki yell at the two brothers. It lights my heart up, making it beat faster and faster.

"What? It was a legitimate question!" Hikaru snaps.

"We don't want him getting in more trouble than he already is..."

"It's... it's alright Tamaki, thank you." I raise a hand up to his shoulder, smiling at him, trying not to stare into those beautiful indigo eyes of his. I feel a blush rushing up to my face, so I quickly take a step back. "Why so protective?" I ask playfully, clearing my throat again. "I don't believe I've ever seen you snap on those two so harshly before."
