I hide a yawn in my coat sleeve. "I don't know. It's difficult to tell." I shake it off and look over at Haruhi. "Depends on how serious everything is. Considering that this is his first head injury, the probability is more than likely."

“That’s no fun. One of us should stay with him in case he needs anything. Like Kaoru.” Honey said.

“Well the two are practically inseparable. But Hikaru needs rest. The doctors will take good care of him.” Tamaki said, hiding a yawn in his sleeve. It appeared hardly anyone slept since Hikaru was brought to the hospital.

“Tamaki is right, Honey. Besides it’s just for the night.” Haruhi said.

KYOYA

We sit down at a table, and I use this time to stretch before getting snacks and coffee. I sit back down with a deep breath, looking over at Tamaki as he paddles away again.

I clutch at my coffee cup, closing my eyes, letting the sugar and smell waft to my soul.

“For now we should let Hikaru rest.” Tamaki said.

“I guess we can always visit him in the morning.” Honey said hiding a yawn. He hadn’t had a nap today and was really tired. “He can borrow Usa-chan to snuggle with.”

“Really? I thought he never left your side.” Haruhi said, clearly shocked.

“I can go the night without him.” Honey replied.

KYOYA

I take a sip of the cup, looking over at Tamaki for a moment, taking a deep breath. I shift, tilting my head. "Tama, can I talk to you? Alone?"

“Sure.” Tamaki guessed it might be about his father having the nerve to come here and treat Kyoya like he wasn’t there. God that really made him mad.

“Let’s go see how Hikaru is doing.” Honey told Kaoru and Haruhi. “I bet Akito is done examining him by now.” He added, wanting to give Tamaki and Kyoya some privacy.

“I don’t see why not.” Haruhi said as she got up with Honey and followed him. “Coming, Kaoru?” She asked.

KYOYA

I press the bathroom door open, resting my hands against the sink as I stare into the mirror. I blink, looking over myself before turning around. Once I see no one is in the stalls, I lay my head against a wall and scream. Scream until my lungs hurt. Scream until my throat is raw. Scream until I have nothing else to scream about or with.

(Sorry I assumed he had left the room with everyone.)

Tamaki’s eyes went wide. He knew Kyoya was upset but to go and scream in a bathroom. I guess he would rather scream than talk. Poor Mommy... he thought glancing at the bathroom door, hesitant to knock. “He’s not worth it. Yes he’s a horrible human being but you have the Host Club, your sister and me in your life. Your father probably has no friends. Maybe just associates and fellow employees. Your better than him in every way shape and form”

Honey skipped towards Hikaru’s room with Haruhi walking right behind him.

Honey knocked quietly. “How is Hika-chan?” He asked, grinning at the twins.

Haruhi took a seat and couldn’t help smiling. Honey’s happy upbeat attitude was contagious.

"How, Tamaki?" With trembling hands, I curl my fists around the sink, turning my head. "How am I any better than him? How can I..." I...I don't even know. I don't even have the words to express right now. "Come on in." I sigh, sliding down the wall, head in between my legs. "Tamaki. How can he be.... how can I... how?"

Hikaru

I smile widely, nodding. "I'm going to be okay!"

"Where's Kyoya-Senpai and Tamaki-Senpai?" My brother asks, letting go of my hand.

“Well you don’t ignore people. Your smart and helpful and your father is blind not to even notice. Plus you’re very kind.” Tamaki said, walking in and giving Kyoya a hug.

“Oh, well they needed to be alone for a bit.” Haruhi said.

“Most likely about Kyo-chan’s Father again...” Honey sighed.
