The hidden wolf (Closed RP)

Nothing was working well for any of the wolves at this point. There's way too many wolves, but also way too many animals stampeding in. Its dangerous, some wolves starting to stagger and even almost fall over due to the onslaught. There is a general knowledge that if a wolf falls over... that may be the end of them, crushed under the stampede.

Until it calms down, and the sigh of relief is audible among the pack. There's conversation, a bit of laughter, some wolves already biting into their ill-obtained prey.

Until one wolf speaks up.

"What would cause all that? No prey has ever done that before!" And more begin to speak up.

"You're right."

"What's out there?
