1x1 with Cursed at the Heart

[Spencer Reid]

James turned bright pink and stared deep into his coffee.

[Kaidaft]

"Maybe I'll consider it." He said, doing a slight wink. "My coffee is done, but would you like to hang out later?"

[Spencer Reid]

James smiles, "Uhh, s-sure," he says softly, "It's been awhile since I've actually hung out with someone. I-I usually try to stay quiet and avoid people."

[Kaidaft]

"Cool." He said, scribbling something on his napkin. "Here's my number, call me in like an hour or two." He said, smiling "We can hang out then, but right now, I have to be off."

[Spencer Reid]

James grinned, "Alright, I'll call you," he said happily, finishing his coffee and getting up. He ran out the door quickly, without another word. He headed home and saw to his dismay that it was about four in the afternoon. He sat down on the couch and hoped that he would be able to hook up with Metody before nightfall.

After an almost hour-long struggle of helping his friend, Metody flopped on his couch. "Ugh."

James took out the folded napkin and dialed Metody's number. While he waited, he headed to his room and gor Snickers out of his cage, gently setting the little guy on his shoulder, and giggling when he tickled his neck.

Metody dug his phone out of his pocket. "Hello?"

[Spencer Reid]

James smiled when he heard the voice on the other end. "You wanna come over and hang out? We can play scrabble or something. Or, if you don't, that's fine too." he said, turning a little pink. He was glad that Metody couldn't see his face through the phone. He went into the kitchen and began to make some cookies. he made chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies, just in case Metody didn't like chocolate chip. He put them in the oven so they would be ready right when Metody arrived.

(you can tell I'm in a good mood, I don't usually write this much. I mean, I try to, but I'm not very good at writing very much.)

"Sure, just text me your address. I'm going to get ready, see you in a bit!"
Metody hang up, and went to get some different clothes on. He put on a white button-up and some black jeans. He threw on a dark grey jacket over it. Grabbing keys and whatever else he thought he might need, Metody left the house and sat in his car, waiting for the address.
