Just saying, I'm probably going to fall asleep soon since I woke up at 6 this morning and it's already the first of April now XD.
Happy first of April! (not sure if it is for you))

[Tigme]

Yeah, lol, get some sleep! It's not April yet for me, but if it is for you, go to sleep! It's only 7:30PM for me.
As well, do you want to start or should I?))

[Arya22]

(yeah, I'll go sleep now.
And you should start, since as you may have seen in my last few posts, the quality of my writing isn't the best currently. XD)

As the sun began to rise, the first rays of sunlight shone brightly on Connor's face. Annoyed by the sudden light, he cringed and covered his eyes. Yawning, he sat up from the sleeping bag, and looked around to see that everyone else was still asleep. It was strange, actually, he was rarely the first person awake. He blinked sleepily, and looked down to where he last remembered leaving Copernicus. But a wave of panic hit him as the bird was not there. He looked everywhere, but he was no where in sight! "Copernicus?" He said aloud nervously.

Don was awoken by Connor's panicked call. "What's with all the noise?" He asked, irritated. Turning over onto his side, he covered his ears with his hands in hope of keeping the noise away.

[Arya22]

Lena opened her eyes slowly as she heard someone call out, but as soon as the meaning of the call was clear to her, she shot up. Bad idea. Lena groaned as her stiff body made itself known. But she looked at Connor, then around. Copernicus wasn't there.

[Tigme]

"W-where's Copernicus?" Connor was now shaking in fear, "Copernicus!" he quickly stood back up and looked around the camp area they had made.

Katelyn awoke to Connor's shouting. As a pang of fear hit her, she sat up, not yet sure of what all the fuss was about.

Don groaned as he realized what the stupid calls were about. Discreetly, he moved his hand and flicked his wrist. Copernicus appeared, and it seemed he wasn't too happy about Connor's early morning shouting either.

[Arya22]

Benjamin opened his eyes, hearing Connor couldn't find Copernicus. But as soon as he glanced around, he spotted the small bird not far. Smiling in amusement, he pointed at the pigeon. "there he is!" he called to Connor.

[Tigme]

Hey I keep forgetting to ask, but what happened to your avatar? Why don't you have one?))

Copernicus made a sound almost like a growl as he hopped closer to Connor. Connor picked him up happily, "You're okay!" he exclaimed, "I was so worried about you!" he gave the bird a gentle hug. But he didn't seem too happy about the hug, and had begin pecking at his chest.

Katelyn sighed, but a small smile came to her face as she realized what the issue was. "Crisis averted." she said under her breath. Glancing over at Don, she could only guess the sudden disappearance then reappearance of the pigeon was of his work.

(well, the friend that made my signature also sent me an avatar, but for some reason it wasn't working and since then I haven't taken the time to get my previous avatar back up. You know, the grumpy owl.)

Lena sighed in relief and stood up. It was no use trying you sleep now anyway. They needed to go.
