Warriors 1x1 - Kia_Bee and Weredog

[Weredog]

"Yeah. Rats aren't food!" Onyxkit scolded Jetkit in a very matter-of-fact tone, as if she had known that all along. This earned her a swat from Jetkit and soon the pair had broken into a full blown play fight.

[Kia_Bee]

"Kits." Nightfur chuckled as she watched the play fight. She turned her attention to the camp, watching the other cats go about their lives. She was brought back when Amberkit squeaked, either in surprise or pain she didn't know. "What happened?"

[Weredog]

The sound was enough to Diamond's attention. She stood up to trot over from where she had been resting only a short distance away. "What's wrong?" She asked as she approached, "Are you okay, Amberkit?" It seemed she could tell his particular cry apart from his siblings even from a short distance.

[Kia_Bee]

Amberkit carefully got up from where he had been knocked over holding up his front paw. "It hurts, mama." He squeaked, on the verge of tears.

[Weredog]

Diamond's tail tip twitched nervously but she was able to force her voice to stay steady and calm as she said, "It'll be alright, my dear. Wait here while I go get somebody who can make it better." She gave Amberkit a gentle lick to the top of his head before hurrying off to try to find a medicine cat.

[Kia_Bee]

Lavenderpaw hummed softly to herself as she sorted out herbs, looking up upon catching Diamond's scent. "Hello, Diamond. Is something wrong?" She asked, noticing the slight panic in the queen's eyes.

[Weredog]

"Hello." Diamond greeted but wasted no time continuing on so she could explain, "Something is wrong with Amberkit's leg. I don't know what happened to him but he sounds like he is in a lot of pain."

[Kia_Bee]

"Where is he now?" Lavenderpaw asked, grabbing a few herbs to help treat the kit.

[Weredog]

"I'll bring you to him." Diamond offered. She turned and headed back. She found that the rest of the kits were all crowded around Amberkit, obviously wondering what was happening. "Come along, move out of the way so Amberkit can get help." She instructed while lightly pulling a kit to the side.

[Kia_Bee]

Lavenderpaw followed the queen, smiling kindly at the kit. "Hey, Amberkit. Can I see your paw?" She asked softly, knowing he must be worried. The kit nodded before holding up his paw to her. She gently touched it with hers, apologizing when he hissed in pain. "Thankfully it's only a sprain. I'll give him one poppy seed to help with the pain."
