Warriors 1x1 - Kia_Bee and Weredog

[Weredog]

Sungaze gave a small shrug of his shoulders. "StarClan can be...Irritating sometimes." He said with a soft sigh, "They speak in confusing ways."

[Kia_Bee]

"They do?" Lavenderpaw asked, stopping and tilting her head. "How come?"

[Weredog]

"I am not sure why." Sungaze replied, stopping when she did so not to leave her behind, "My mentor used to be the one to talk to them usually. Before she joined them, I mean. She could understand them better than I can."

[Kia_Bee]

"Maybe I can help you understand." Lavenderpaw offered, her tail flicking a little. "That way we can interpret what they're trying to say."

[Weredog]

"Maybe..." Sungaze trailed off a bit, thinking. He felt like he shouldn't have to rely on her like that. After all, wasn't he supposed to be the one teaching her? If she could help though he wasn't going to turn that down. Suddenly he remembered why they were even out here. "We should keep looking." He said while starting to walk again. He was headed in the direction of an area where he knew poppy flowers typically grew.

Lavenderpaw nodded silently in reply, wondering if she said something wrong. She hoped she didn't upset him or offend him in any way. She lifted her nose, smelling the air.

[Weredog]

Sungaze's path wasn't entirely straightforward. He veered off to the side occasionally to investigate something. It didn't seem to be anything particularly useful. A hole in a tree where some animal used to nest, a dead bush, a pile of decaying leaves. He would always return to walking back in his original direction after a few moments though. "There are the poppies." He eventually said, picking up his pace now that he could actually see a cluster of the red flowers up ahead.

Lavenderpaw watched him as he got distracted, wondering what went on in his mind sometimes. Upon seeing the poppies, she padded over to them. "They're pretty." She said softly.

[Weredog]

"A lot of cats seem to think so." Sungaze said before leaning down to bite a few off at the stems. He liked plants because of what they could do and not how they looked. Even he would have to admit though that he liked the vivid coloration that most flowers had to them. Poppies included. "Can you tell where some borage is from here?" He asked once felt like he had enough poppies. From here he could smell the herb but only just faintly. If one didn't know the scent well they could easily miss it.

Lavenderpaw sniffed the air as she tried to find the scent. "There." She said, pointing her tail to the right, feeling confident.
